I was amazed the first time I saw ReplyGuy in action. I set it up for a friend's product and it started responding to Twitter and Reddit posts while subtly namedropping his company. And it wasn't spamming - it posts useful replies that got tons of upvotes and casually worked in a mention to the product. It felt like one of those life hacks that you wanted to tell everyone about. But also a secret you wanted to keep so your competitors don't find out about it.

This looks very cool. Congrats on the launch. I was wondering where the users who do the replying come from? Would I just set it up with my own Twitter/Reddit account?
Alexander Belogubov
@mrtin We use our accounts for replies, we take them from different sources. But you can also use your account for automatic replies; for this there is a special section where you can add your accounts.

@alexander_belogubov Ah, ok, that's handy that you can provide accounts as well as letting me use my own. Thanks for your reply.
Roman Shalabanov
@mrtin @alexander_belogubov are there any unspoken limitations for the accounts? For example, some subreddits may not allow new accounts with a low karma level.
Alexander Belogubov
@mrtin @roman_shalabanov It is very rare that there are restrictions that our accounts do not comply with, so we publish replies in 95% of subreddits.
Borja Soler
do you have any data on the results someone can get using your product?
Abigail Williams
@solerbor Yes, we have several customers that use our product to generate around 50-100 leads per month. For every 10 replies, they get 2-3 signups. But on popular posts, sometimes the reply will get a lot of upvotes and you can get many more new customers.
Abigail Williams
@solerbor one more thing, we don't recommend including links directly in the post because that increases the chance that Twitter or Reddit flags it as spam. That can make it harder to track attribution directly. But it does bring users - most people who sign up for ReplyGuy keep using us for a long time because it helps them get users.

This branding is great, haha. Curious - Is your launch comment written with ReplyGuy? I'd love to see some other accounts that have used this, I tried looking up the account from your landing page - (https://www.reddit.com/user/Ophe...) and it looks like it got suspended by Reddit. Sweet concept overall! Great way to automatically get the word out about new products. 👏 Congrats on your launch!
Alexander Belogubov
@esus Thank you! Yes, some accounts could be banned, especially more often in the beginning when I was doing a lot of experiments, now bans happen very rarely due to the high quality of the replies.

@alexander_belogubov got it! Neat product and totally understand early experimentation. :) Congrats again :)

This is cool. Curious what prompt do you use to make it look real
ReplantaAi
@kodjima33 @alexander_belogubov is there a way to use my own prompt?
Alexander Belogubov
@kodjima33 @replantaai Yes, you can use additional prompts. They can be specified in the project settings.
Marek Sotak
Congrats on the launch! Is there some sort of an "approval queue" possible instead of automating it?
Abigail Williams
@sotak Hey Marek, this is a good idea. Right now, the replies are automatically posted, but can add an approval queue if that would help your use case.

I really like it! I will try to messure its impact on my little product!
Mohammad Elzahaby
@alexander_belogubov any discount for ph members and supporters? :D
Mohammad Elzahaby
@alexander_belogubov by the way there is a bug with replies, no replies are displayed there although it says 2 replies have been made
Alexander Belogubov
@mohammad_elzahaby Write me your email via the online support chat, I’ll check what could have gone wrong.
Ina Simeonova
This sounds really cool and congrats on the launch! Does it work only on Twitter and Reddit atm? After setting up the keywords etc and ReplyGuy does its job how can I see a summary of the replies it has posted on my behalf for example? Can you choose tone of voice etc? Really curious how it works.
Surag Patel
Very clever idea. Depending on the product the subtleness of the mention could make all the difference. We'll give it a shot.
Abigail Williams
@sipat thanks, let me know what you think!

Looks like an awesome product. Will for sure be using this in the near future. Congrats and well done!

Heads up for anyone using, Make sure your key words are specific. I put in the recommended AI keywords and they were too broad. So the replies were put on posts that were not ideal.
Abigail Williams
@macbookair_maccy thanks, I think that's a very fair point.
Tony Syrup
Love the idea, best of luck with the launch! 🔥
