🚀 Rethinking Menus: What if every restaurant had an interactive 3D menu?
Hi everyone 👋
I’m part of the team building Replate, and we’ve been obsessed with a simple question: why are menus still flat and static in 2025?
We’ve all experienced it — ordering a dish that looks completely different from what we imagined. For restaurants, this also means expensive photo shoots, constant updates, and wasted food just for photography.
With Replate, we’re creating interactive 3D menus that let you explore dishes from every angle, directly on your phone (no app needed). Restaurants can scan their dishes, show them instantly, and even reuse those 3D models as ready-to-share content for ads and social media.
We see this as a way not only to improve how people choose their meals, but also to reduce waste, cut costs, and create smarter insights for restaurants.
💡 I’d love to hear from this community:
Would you use a 3D menu before ordering food?
As a customer, what would make this experience exciting for you?
As a restaurant, what would convince you to try this instead of photography?
We’re just getting started, so early feedback means a lot 🙏
