When we started Remote, I dreamt about a future in which you can hire anyone from anywhere without ever going through mountains of bureaucracy and red tape, and maybe, MAYBE, one day, you could use an API call to do that.
I'm super excited to tell you that today is that day.
We've built Remote literally from the ground up. All infrastructure, operations, payments, everything, runs on our own platform - and this API allows anyone to use that directly in their own apps. Meaning you can offer global employment, payroll and anything else needed to hire anyone from anywhere, directly through your own app.
This has been years in the making and supports 100% of our services. Let us know if you have any thoughts or questions!
This is so important to anyone hiring remote at scale. Think of this API as the first step after making an offer. Ideally right out of your applicant tracking system.
Hope I can use it to also call in a background check, and create an account in my identity provider once a contract has been signed.

Which informations is available? Is it an open API?
I am building Job Board Search which is a curated list of the best job boards out there, I am building it in public, plus it went viral on Reddit so I get a lot of feedback and users are requesting job feeds, I this this could be what I need!
@rrmdp We are rolling this out incrementally. It is currently available to partners that are in our Remote API partner program but we plan to make it more open over time.
