RemoteHQ has put all the different ways people collaborate in real-time into one platform. It makes it easy for distributed teams to work together, as if they are in the same location. Their Shared Browser app is quite a unique feature. You can co-browse and navigate any website or web app with your team. It's totally worth checking out. Much faster than screen sharing!

@hnshah I love the language you used to describe RemoteHQ's superpower! Do you mind if we share this as a testimonial on our socials? I know this comment was written awhile ago so if you have more current feedback I'd be happy to hear that as well :)

We built RemoteHQ to help distributed teams actually get work done together. There are numerous tools out there that try to address this problem, however, we believe they fall short in many ways. We wanted a platform that that enabled remote teams to collaborate as if they were co-located in the same physical space. Furthermore, we wanted to provide this experience in an intuitive manner all running in your browser; No installation required! Our mission is to re-imagine how teams work by providing a virtual workspace that is flexible, intuitive, and secure. Use RemoteHQ to host team meetings, sales demos, support calls, training sessions, and more. You can quickly mix and match apps in each session, based on your use case. RemoteHQ is giving 3 months worth of free usage to 300 Product Hunt users (first come, first served) who sign up and upgrade with the coupon code 8uzHei77. To redeem, sign up and then go to https://rooms.remotehq.com/setti.... Chose the subscription plan of your choice (you should choose Pro). From there, you can enter the above code when upgrading your subscription. The code is only valid for the next 5 days, until 31st Oct 11:59pm EDT. Finally, big kudos to the team for all they have done with this product. We are a fully remote team, spread around the world and we eat our own dog food.

@owenfar1 We'll be adding this shortly (we just launched). Drop us an email at team@remotehq.com if you like your email deleted and we'll wipe it. Thanks!
Rajeev Surati
Owen I dont' understand your comment, using the shared browser is optional and you can share your desktop. I think having both options is superior to just having 1 option.

Anything Waikit builds is bound to be ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Got to see an early version of this over the summer and was blown away by the speed of this. Go try it and see for yourself.
Waikit Lau
@anujadhiya Thanks! Very flattered but the credit really goes to my teammates

Seeing this come together over the months was super fun. I'm holding a growing percentage of my meetings on RemoteHQ these days, because it doesn't only offer one of the most stable experiences (I've never had the audio cut out, ever), I'm also able to record and transcribe everything and pull in notepads and whiteboards directly into the talk.
Waikit Lau
@dqmonn1 Appreciate it Dominic. We love what you are doing with NoHQ. Remote will be eating the world soon enough.
Mia Nguyen
@dqmonn1 Following up here, how are your meeting going on RemoteHQ now? I'd love an update! & is it alright if I share your feedback as a testimonial on our socials?

@aaron_kazah Thank you for your kind words!

?makers do you also allow recoding of sessions? And also breakout rooms? Super keen on exploring this for live classes and deep integration with our platform

Really cool! Curious, is there a collection of use cases where the shared browser or apps directly on RemoteHQ vs. a passive shared screen really shines?
Waikit Lau
@jim_kleban We don't anything written out but that's great idea! We'll put something together. We see lots of uses cases - team collaboration (going thru github, trello, invision, even already collaborative tools like google docs, etc where anyone can just make a quick edit), prod feedback (let a user play with a staging web app and see what she does right/wrong), sales demos (instant test drive), onboarding/training (give control to other users, learning by doing), support + customer success (resolve issues collaboratively), etc. What we found is when anyone can control in a WYSIWYG and contextual manner, makes the whole experience very organic and intuitive vs. "ok I'm making this change now, do you guys see it?". It's a bit like hailing a cab vs. getting an Uber/Lyft on phone. Here's an interesting one - we had someone help his mom filter for and buy a plane ticket on Kayak using the Shared Browser.

Fell in love with RemoteHQ right from the first time I used it. Weโ€™d be on appear.in for a long time, but 3 things immediately struck me as better: 1. The name RemoteHQ is perfectly positioned for the current trend in remote work, and to scale beyond video meeting 2. The โ€œtileโ€ system reminds me of Notionโ€™s โ€œblocksโ€ approach, both of which are game-changing innovations in their respective spaces (insane flexibility to move, resize, minimize, etc. all the tiles) 3. The ability to add/remove Apps as needed Since speaking with the founders, itโ€™s clear that this is going to be a trend-seteting conferencing tool for remote teams, and I canโ€™t wait to upgrade as soon as video recording is released! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Ground-breaking collaborative web app. For sure the future is there with co-browsing and smart integrated apps in a really nice and relevant UI. Upvoted ;-) As I will test it soon with some mates. Kudos to the team!!!
Waikit Lau
@westkast Thank you. Appreciate you giving us a try. Feedback and suggestions welcome!
Alice Barker
@waikit I love ur product! I'm curious though about your unusual trial model... what lead you to want to do the dollar per day thing for three days. Also it seems that you need to email support to resubscribe if you end up not subscribing right away, this seems like a blocker to folks making the decision to sign up... just curious why you have configured it this way?
Waikit Lau
@puppycodes Thanks for the feedback!
Trevor Sookraj
Our entire team works remotely, and this is a must-have. The collaboration features (whiteboard, notes, shared browser) give the feel that you're in the same room. Also automatically adjusts video quality so there's no lag โ€” big step up from Zoom and Hangouts!
Waikit Lau
@trevorsookraj Thanks Trevor!
Mike Wong
Damn, the shared browser is slick! Can see so many use cases for it. Nice UI. Well built. What's the max number of people you can fit a in a room?
Waikit Lau
@mike_wong2 Right now, 15 total in a room. This is just for starters. We'll be increasing that number over time for all our free and paid plans.
Rachel Hentsch
@mike_wong2 @waikit What will be the maximum expected final capacity? For my organisation, we are currently hosting up to 250-300 people in a meeting so I am just needing a comparison point.
Waikit Lau
@mike_wong2 @rachel_hentsch1 In the short term, we may up the limit to higher tens of people. We are working on get to a few hundred folks in a room. We hope to get there soon! :)
Taylor Jacobson โ€“ Team Focusmate
Fantastic product out of the gate. We're still discovering new use cases for our fully remote team. Excited to see what's next.
Jed Ng
@waikit demo'd the product for me a while back. Damn! Just when you thought all the innovation had been tapped out of webRTC and desktop conferencing by WebEx and Zoom, RemoteHQ blows the field away with truly game-changing collaboration features. You gotta experience it to believe it
Andrew Baisley
I have a team across Singapore and Jakarta and this could solve a real pain point for us. Excited to check it out
Waikit Lau
@abaisley Thanks Andrew!
Mia Nguyen
@abaisley - Hey Andrew! How was trying out RemoteHQ for your dispersed team? I'd love to hear any feedback you have. Feel free to shoot me a message!

Huge congrats to the whole RemoteHQ team, we've been using it for a couple months now (almost half our team is either remote of traveling multiple weeks each month) and it's awesome to see the user experience keep getting better and better. The collaboration both visually and tactically with shared browser has been a big hit on the team.
Waikit Lau
@danslagen Thanks Dan. Truly appreciate all the early feedback from you and your team!
Caitlin Bolnick
@waikit congrats on launch! I remember your early iteration of this a few years back. Incredible progress and looks awesome!
Kevin-of-the-cosmos
I can see some of the teams I have worked in using this. The shared browser is tres cool! Is the browser hosted by you guys? Just curious. I also see you don't support mobile yet. Any plans?
Waikit Lau
@kevin_leong Thx for the feedback and kind words. It's on the list of to-do's! :)

RemoteHQ is one of those apps that always has that thing you didn't know you needed. The ability to transcribe, log that transcription and add notes to share with coworkers under one app is a huge time and resource saver. My favorite part is the fact that there are no installations necessary. You won't have to worry about potential back doors being open to your machine through some weird, unknown installation.
Mia Nguyen
@dayhaysoos - Great to hear this Nick! While it has been awhile since this comment, I'd love to hear how are you enjoying your RemoteHQ experience today? Feel free to shoot me a message to share! In the meantime, would it be alright for me to share this feedback as a testimonial on our socials?
Phillip Hui Bon Hoa
We have been using RemoteHQ since the inception of my agency. Allowing the client to interact with whatever I am demoing or showing off is game changing.
