Hi Product Hunt! 👋
After nearly two years of building in private, we are finally opening our doors to build Relate with a broader public user community. Today, we're launching Relate public beta — a modern sales CRM software built for B2B startups.
1️⃣ Why are we building a new CRM platform?
It started with scratching our own itch.
Before building Relate, we spent our first four pivots working on various B2B products. We needed a way to track our early sales and customer development activities, so we picked a CRM available on the market then — and we quickly found we were limited with old processes. Our sales motion, as a result, was very slow.
We jumped around different CRM solutions, but none worked for us. Adding customer profiles was cumbersome and felt manual. Updating deals daily was taking longer than the selling itself.
Why isn't there a simple and easy-to-use CRM that just works out of the box?
For chat, we love using Slack. And for issue tracking, we love using Linear. But what about sales? Why isn't there a CRM that gives you similar excitement and joy as Slack and Linear?
Frustrated by failing to find one, we built Relate to solve our problem!
2️⃣ Relate lets you:
- Track prospects, deals, and customers in one place
- Manage your sales workflow and pipeline
- Link and keep all your sales notes and email history together
- Collaborate with your team on sales
- Analyze and monitor sales productivity and efficiency
Excited to hear what you think! Leave any questions or comments below, we’ll follow up shortly ✌️
@builov84 hey! thanks for the comment. yes - adding AI to Relate is in our roadmap! we're going to roll out some exciting AI features very soon :-)
For differentiation -- I think key is ease-of-use and simplicity. Most our customers/prospects talk about how difficult it is to get started with a legacy CRM. We wanted to fix that!
Congrats on the launch! The design is fantastic, but if you don't find your PMF, would you consider building a CRM for SaaS? There is yet to be a solution designed for us. (SaaS Businesses)
Congrats on your launch! A few comments share their experience of Relate compared with well established CRM products like Salesforce, Hubspot. What about no-code tools, have you tried these? And if so, what were the pain points in your own experience?
@julienergan Julien - of course. We've tried Notion and Airtable. They are simple/easy-to-use, but the problem was that they did not have a built-in sales workflows and we weren't able to see email history because they do not support email syncs.
@chrs For the built-in sales workflows issue, potentially you could have asked a No-code professional to develop the custom workflow for you. But the "email syncs" is definitely an issue, which I did not anticipate. So, thanks a lot for sharing the additional insights and all the best for the next steps.
@chrs Congrats on the launch, Christopher. I like Relate's simple UI and Kanban-based lead management feature. I also found it unique that Relate is focusing on the cooperation between Sales and Customer Success teams.
I thought I like to learn more about the differences between other CRM tools like Monday, Zendesk, and Relate on the landing page.
Undoubtebly the most accessible and easiest CRM for growing B2B startups. You'd love it if you've already struggled implementing hubspot or salesforce due to their high learning curve.
Congrats on your launch Chris and Arthur👍
Been using Relate for a while now and IT IS AWESOME. We tried Hubspot and Pipedrive before landing on Relate and couldn’t be happier. The team clearly has great taste and is focused on what a startup actually needs out of a CRM.
Congrats on the launch! 👏 I just signed up and gave it a little try. With its clean interface and onboarding flow, it looks like a tool that sales-led businesses should consider. I'm curious if we can see the lead source and pageview event as well.
I've tested dozens of CRMs, including Salesforce, but my team and I have settled on Relate. The reason is quite simple. It has all the features we need as a startup and doesn't require a lot of time to train my team, who have absolutely no experience with any CRMs, thanks to its simplicity and excellent UX. Kudos to the team!
Yep, I'd say Relate is a no-brainer choice for your CRM, especially if you are in the early stages of your business. It's super easy to use and well-packaged with everything you need to make sales.
Congrats on your launch!
@hikaru_nagashima A good example is our auto-handoff feature. When you qualify a prospect in Relate, it automatically gets added to your pipeline as a Deal!

Congratulations on your launch! It looks very impressive. I like the look and feel of your product. Could you please explain what sets Relate apart from HubSpot?
Big congrats on the launch! 👏 I hopped on board and took it for a spin. The clean interface and smooth onboarding make it a must for sales-centric businesses. Any chance we can track lead source and pageview events too?
I think it's an essential B2B sales management tool for early stage startups. It's intuitive to use and supports email integration, which makes it easy for salespeople to use.
