When you are building a product, data is key to take informed decisions. But before analyzing data, you need to make sure you track things correctly.
Let's admit it's a real mess, isn't it? 🤣
How many back and forth slack messages, emails, and tasks in Jira to coordinate between your data team, engineers, PM, and designers?!
This is over! Thanks to Qualas, you can now have this discussion early on, and keep track of all the events directly in Figma.
It will save you time and give you better tracking, it won't be an afterthought anymore.
@irhymeth Thank you so much for your feedback. For sure, let's connect: Feel free to send a mail through info@qualas.io and we are happy to collaborate further on this!
Congratulations @laurciorobea, @noah_hofmann on the launch! I'm delighted that I could help you with the technicalities of the product, and I'm really happy seeing you here 😁
I think the solution really saves time for anyone involved in the management of tracking plans. I hope it will serve a lot of product hunters as well!
@farokh_shahabi Thank you so much for your comment. We haven’t planned any mechanisms to support importing events unfortunately -Every event is based on the Figma context which is why we tie events in Figma to the respective elements. However, it is definitely on our to do list for the future and will keep you posted when when it is implemented!
Hey hunters, team Qualas.io here. First of all, thanks @picsoung for your support! 🎉
At Qualas.io we worked on the problem of data tracking for some time, and, after dozens of user interviews, we realised the need for a smart Figma integration that helps product managers set up their data tracking. Our solution allows you to set up your tracking right at the design stage and export the tracking plan to Jira (or CSV), while monitoring the implementation status without ever leaving Figma! 😎
Our goal with Qualas.io tracking planner is to simplify the set-up of your data tracking, reduce cost, and by that shorten the product analytics value chain. ⏱️

We are really looking forward to hearing what you guys think! Let us know in the comments! 📫
Thank you for your question @mihai_cepoi: We help you depict schemas of your events that would go to your usual analytics software like GA/Mixpanel/or similar. Does that answer your question?
Thanks @picsoung for the hunt, and thank you @noah_hofmann for building this with me!
To add a bit of insight into how the product works, we've come up with a number of features addressing what user interviews revealed to be constant challenges in the set-up of data tracking. These are:
🏷️ Event Labels
Designed to make sure you never miss an important interaction, by labelling events directly on your canvas!
Time and time again we've heard from PMs realising they overlooked important events, weeks after setting up their tracking. To combat this, you can now see your event properties, tags, platform, status and much more, all at a glance - directly on your customer journey.
✅ Tracking Plan
Based on the above events, we can generate tracking plans automatically, removing the need to spend hours filling in excel sheets while crosschecking your canvas!
The plans includes basic information such as event properties, comments, tags and implementation status, as well as interaction screenshots and element identifiers. We hope that the depth and clarity of information will make communication clear and reduce unnecessary back and forth between PMs and developers!
📄 Jira and CSV Export
As ticketing was highlighted to be a constant time cost, you can export your tracking plan directly to Jira, in just a few seconds!
Updates sync with your Figma tracking plan, so it doubles as a dashboard. If you would still like to use excel sheets, feel free to export to CSV!
🤝 Collaboration (BETA)
One key benefit of our app is having one source of truth for the entire team, right at the point where product design decisions are made. If your colleagues have our plugin and edit rights to your canvas, they can now instantly see the tracking plan and event labels you created!
-
That's it! We hope you enjoy using our product as much as we enjoyed making it, and we look forward to any comments you may have!
Not only that Qualas.io is a great product, but the team is doing a great job. I know Laur, and I got the chance to know his team a little bit, and they are top notch!
Congrats for the launch!🚀
This looks like it could be such a lifesaver! Data tracking is a huge hassle, so always happy to see teams working on streamlining it!
One thing I'm not sure of, how does collaboration work for your plugin?
Thanks for the feedback, @alex_petroiu, we're super happy people find this useful!
We're testing collaboration features at the moment. Our current BETA feature is quite simple but effective - If your colleagues have our plugin and edit rights to your canvas, they can now instantly see the tracking plan and event labels you created! You can see any changes they make and vice-versa, in real time.
Makes sense? :)
@laur_ciorobea
Ahh, got it! This would work for my team, but I'm thinking some teams may not want to publish everything immediately to everyone. Good start for testing though!
@alex_petroiu Exactly! We're testing it at the moment and it's minimal, but we will look into upgrading it if enough people make use of the feature!
Stay tuned! ;)
I was involved in user testing and am incredibly impressed with the solution that came out of this. Really something I can use in my day to day work as a PM. Feature request - Can you build an integration with Trello next?
@noah_hofmann@laurciorobea
@laurciorobea@jonas_kniel1 Thanks a lot for your support all this way. We really could not have done it without you! Regarding the feature-request: It's definitely a good suggestion! We haven't thought about but we will keep it in our backlog and notify you as soon as it's implemented!
Great tool! Finally a way to streamline our data tracking & have the team on the same page. Designers, developers, and product owners . Great job guys!
