In recent years, there's been aggressive marketing around developer productivity metrics like DORA, promoting them as the secret key to unlocking development team productivity. While Pullpo's customers find these metrics valuable for tracking team evolution and benchmarking overall health, metrics alone don't tell us how to improve. That's why it's crucial to talk with individual developers to understand their daily challenges and main pain points in their job. The main bottleneck could be slow review processes, problematic build pipelines, inefficient on-call procedures, impractical testing systems… One thing is clear: we need to listen to developers. But since it's not always feasible to have recurring conversations with each team member, we need a centralized and simple way to collect and analyze this feedback. That's why we've created this functionality. Key advantages of Pullpo Surveys over generic survey apps: - Surveys complement and merges perfectly with Pullpo's engineering metrics. - High response rates, sends personalized DM reminders to developers who haven't responded yet, even with anonymous surveys. - Zero friction, people reply to the survey directly in Slack In-the-moment micro surveys bring additional value: - Delivers specific questions to the right people at the right time via Slack - Allows you to select and define questions based on triggers such as: - Missed code review / pickup / cycle time / merge time targets - PRs merged without required approvals - (More triggers coming soon!)

@marco_patino Great approach! Have you considered custom survey triggers for team-specific workflows? Could make insights even more relevant!

@masump Totally! Soon, we will launch an API so that teams can send feedback requests for nearly any event they need.

Makes sense for any org that cares about this DevEx data to implement something like this. It seems like it's only become more common so I'd be interested in seeing how the product grows!

Keeping track of DevEx across multiple teams is a challenge. If I can get real-time insights without chasing feedback manually, that's a huge plus.

sick product! Combining real developer feedback with hard data is the missing piece for real improvements. Nice work 👏👏
