Great work. It will be even cooler if you allow people to edit timelines: basically crowd-source it.

@hermes - a combination. data was much more difficult to gather at the beginnings of the timelines. most startups (especially the older ones) didn't have a nice product-centric blog set up in the early days. going forward, data collection is much more automated, but still includes some hand curation to link videos, optimize headlines, determine what's 'important' enough to include, etc.
