I'm the cofounder of Prisma, a Connected Learning Network that completely reimagines school for the 21st century → https://JoinPrisma.com We built Prisma LIVE because we couldn’t find a great product that served our needs for running the 4th-8th grader virtual program of Prisma (https://www.joinprisma.com/program) so we decided to build it ourselves. 🧒 For learners: We've designed Prisma LIVE to be fun, customizable and creative. Kids can use skins, customize their avatars and visually express their emotions. Prisma LIVE also provides lots of opportunities for casual, spontaneous interactions to build lasting relationships, something that is missing from traditional video conferencing. 🎓 For educators: Prisma LIVE is the ultimate power tool. With a dynamic, customizable canvas that enables educators to embed any kind of web content, it allows them to create synchronous workshops (socratic discussions, simulations, games, visual breakout rooms and more) that are engaging and fun. At the same time, Prisma LIVE automates many of the lesson logistics such as attendance taking, managing content or time tracking, so coaches can focus on what really matters - connecting with learners and empowering them to be their best selves. Prisma LIVE is the first product in what will eventually be a comprehensive suite for synchronous and asynchronous learning. I've tried the beta and it's amazing what Prisma Live can do. It makes "Screensharing" obsolete and does a great job of simulating a true, collaborative virtual classroom. This is foundational! 💜
