@maxwellcdavis Thanks for the feedback! It's super helpful for launches. All you have to do is prepare your press release in advance and schedule it to go out at the same time as your product launch.
@tberguer Do the press pickup the launches on the same day? Would you advise providing a link back to Product Hunt or you main landing page?
@maxwellcdavis It all depends on your strategy and the journalists involved. It's often better to send the press release ahead of time to announce the launch, with the link to the landing page and the link to the product hunt, to make it more effective.
Hi team. Congrats on the launch. How does it work? I write press release about my project, than I should send it to different mass media by clicking the buttons in the interface. Than - what's next? They see my press release and can make it public?
Which media do you have?
@anna_kasumova Exactly, you can write your press release from within the application, or import your own if you've already written it. Then all you have to do is select the category you want and the journalists you want. The press release will then be sent to the journalists, and you'll be able to follow its status in real time :)

1 - Yes it's true, I'll do something more precise in v2.
2 - It's true, I had thought about it, but not yet implemented, maybe soon indeed!
3 - It's already in place on the reporting part of the application when you sent your press release.
4 - For the moment, you can do it in English and French, but other languages will follow soon.

This is a very good idea @tberguer! It will help a lot of small businesses that are not sure how to get started, and also bigger ones who want to do this much more quicker.
Woah - this is a great idea! Many startups/indie makers have a million things going on, so providing them with a platform to easily connect with the press is a huge help. I'm not sure what existing tools are out there, but I know traditional media always needs innovation. Will def come back to this when I launch my next product
