Postman — Postman is a powerful HTTP client to test REST API

I've got to say that after so many years using Postman and enjoying it. Today I found multiple reasons why to never use this software again. This app has dozens of features, that you will never use. Mocking, testing... only a few people, usually companies use this features. What most people use (like me) is the ability to store collections and requests and make requests, using env variables and nothing much more. They will archive automatic your projects/collections without warning when you reach their limits (even if is collections that ur using that this very moment). And give you the possibility to download that data which is impossible to understand, or recover anything from it... even the file names for the downloads are not possible to understand. I lost today the ability to deliver a project in time, because part of my collections were archived without previous notice/warning... or even any alternative. They ask for £192 annually. This is insane, mind blowing. I think that not even a Windows license costs that much. Only because I have another developer that looks into my collections once every 10 years, because you have a limit of 25 shared requests. £192... wow... need to get out of this universe... Just as a side note... Paw 3... costs a little over £30 for once every 5 years... (when they do major releases)

it is good tool but super super over priced ... they have even recently increased price ... i am evaluating other options. but today the problem is that we will need a time to migrate out ... i will not recommend new comers to get into it and get stuck. evaluate other products and get used to them even if they have few features missing. Today i found Postman and i love it already. It helps me to test my API and i think, when it is ready, i will offer own postman stuff, that developers, who want to use my API can test the results, like in Google API Explorer. LOVE THAT, thank you!

I don't know why there is no cheaper alternative, does it make sense to pay about $1k for team of 10 !!!

It is very intuitive - it works great, and you can customize environment/global query params beautifully!

Very useful tool! We love it at Enquire to avoid formatting nightmare. Collections are very usefull!

This is a much better product now than when it was first released. A useful tool in a dev's box
