Previously, I was co-founder/CEO of Screenhero (acquired by Slack in 2015), and led the team that built Slack Calls (voice, video, and screen sharing in Slack). @jsherwani ScreenHero changed my life, so I was gutted to find out it was going to be sunset post-Slack acquisition. Its resurrection as Screen brought me life and I’ve been using it with my team — brings back memories 🥰 All I have to say is thank you for building such a robust, intuitive product.

Screen is amazing!! Seriously I have been waiting for something like this to be built for a long time.

Nice job on the install experience. Super smooth and great attention to detail re: the mac permissions walkthrough. Best of all the apps that require this that I've seen. I really respect the limited scopes you ask for with Slack integration too -- that shows an attention to detail at all levels. Thank you! My only tiny tiny nit on the onboarding is I think I lost the tutorial midway through (maybe). It was walking me through "draw mode" and then I saw I could toggle that mode and "cursor mode" (?) so I clicked that and the little tutorial help bubble went away. The app is so straight forward I'm not really worried about missing whatever might have been left, but... I never saw it =P Great work, and also good job on the pricing model. We also made our product free for the foreseeable future due to the COVID-19 outbreak, though I think you communicated it much better than we did in our launch last week. 😁

Have been using the private beta and I’m in love with this app for our team at Lickability. @jsherwani has been super receptive to our feedback and the product just keeps getting better.

Screen is unbelievably fast and responsive! Better yet, is brought to life by one of the most empathetic, clever, and intelligent innovators out there!

We use screen for pair programming, and it's really terrific! (Thanks so much for supporting Linux as a first-class platform.) I'm a big fan of "future of work" applications that make creative use of video. I regularly talk to people who were devoted ScreenHero users and who feel like they have never found another tool to replace it. This is a big day for that community of power users, and for everyone else, too, like me, who missed the original ScreenHero revolution. Nice article, @joshconstine !

Screen is not perfect, but I cannot get away from it. The user experience is so much better than Zoom and it's simpler than other products, like CoScreen. Wow. Well done.

Does anyone else have trouble with the video quality on Screen? I like it better than Zoom in every way except for low video quality at times...

We're early users of Screen and love it. It's super quick to get on a call with my team and the point and click co-browsing makes explaining things remotely a breeze. Excited for this!!
