I had the intuition that Polly was from the Whale team after seeing this tweet by Justin and then a Snap from Justin using Polly. Now I know my intuition was right 😜 First impressions, it works really great. Easy to use on Snapchat, the design fits well with Snapchat design 👌 I would like to know about why you chose to launch Polly, the backstory behind it. Is it a separate company from Whale, an experiment,...? Congrats on the launch @ranidu @justinkan @jamesfzhang & @viccsmind 👏

( and I remember your DM saying you were not officially launching 😁) I love how the app is built today, the UX is 🔥 I am impressed by how you were able to grow so fast I am looking forward to see how you monetize Polly because monetization of consumer apps is something really tricky 🤔 Btw thanks for sending this message today 🙌 As a user, receiving a message from a founder after doing something 2 months ago means a lot 🙏

I've been waiting for someone to leverage Snapchat as a distribution channel. Very creative and interesting to see this come out around the same time as tbh, another anonymous poll-based app that's topping the App Store right now.

@rrhoover last night I was at a concert; MuteMath, Colony House and Romes. EVERYONE used Snapchat to record videos, take selfies, share content. Shocking how poorly the stock is doing and wondering how apps like this can monetize effectively.
