We're excited to share Podlettr, our podcast-to-newsletter service. Me and my cofounder love podcasts, but: there are a lot of good ones and sometimes they run very, very long. We both have families and busy schedules, so sometimes we wished those podcasts were a bit faster to go through - like newsletters! So we came up with Podlettr: subscribe to your favourite podcasts and receive weekly newsletter digests of the latest episodes, in the formats that you wish. You might want a real estate podcast summarised into quick bullet points, while a true crime podcast might be better served in a longer essay format. Podlettr was built with Rails and is hosted on Fly. I handle the backend/infra aspects and my cofounder Sérgio does the UI/UX. We've worked on and off on it for the last couple of years. Love the design and smooth user experience of your product! When I tried it, I noticed the newsletter is scheduled to arrive next Monday. Is there a way to view it immediately? I'm really excited and can't wait to see it!

@qingxuan_li Thanks so much for your feedback! Glad that you enjoyed the UX; @sergiofontes put a lot of love into it.
Once you confirm your email you should be able to send your first newsletter right away - just click on the "Send your first newsletter" button on the upper-right corner of the Newsletters page. You should get the newsletter email within a few minutes. Your next newsletter will be delivered on Monday automatically. Enjoy!

Love the flexible format idea—bullet points vs essays makes a lot of sense. How do you plan to handle tone and nuance for podcasts where vibe matters as much as content?

@shreyans_assistiv Thanks!
Great question. The short answer is that we're playing it by ear and constantly adjusting our prompts so that the generated content "sounds right" to us across a broad scope of podcast styles.

The longer answer is that the universe of podcasts is huge, and learning how to cater to different kinds of podcasts is an ongoing challenge. Even being a longtime podcast listener myself, I'm constantly surprised by the wildly different formats, lengths, frequencies etc of podcasts that people listen to. Its a challenge, but a fun one!
