Pod - A desktop iPod that plays local music and radio
Pod is a desktop music player which feels and looks like an iPod. Enjoy seamless navigation, haptic feedback, and stylish design, all without extra hardware. Listen to local music files, radio and soon Spotify.

Hey ProductHunt,
I'm a student shipping projects on my nights & weekends (today is no other)
Music is a huge aspect of my life. I appreciate tons of artists and constantly search for a new way to experience it. A while ago something caught my eye...
An iPod. This seemed like a perfect opportunity to have fun while listening to music + the added mindfulness of intentionally selecting an album. Sadly, it's a no go in 2025. Lack of Bluetooth, Spotify sync and high prices was a deal-breaker for me.
That's why I decided to build an iPod player for your desktop.
Right now it works with local audio files, and today I'm adding radio support, allowing folks to add their favourite stations from all over the world.
Adding sync with a Spotify library is something I get requested a lot and am working hard at the moment to finish (Windows version is also coming up).
I hope you'll enjoy as much as I do. Would love some feedback!

It reminds me of the days when I used iPod. Looking forward to it adding sync with Spotify. Best of luck!

This sounds like such a fun and nostalgic way to experience music again! I love how youâre blending that classic iPod vibe with modern features like radio support and Spotify sync. How are you planning to ensure smooth syncing with Spotify for users with large music libraries?
@jonurbonas Hey, thanks for your comment. Dynamic loading would do the job through the Spotify API - the biggest challange at the moment is getting approved to use as I've been waiting for more than 3 weeks, crazy! Did you give the app a go or you would wait for the Spotify sync?
I miss the feelings I had back then very much
