Hey, this is Abhishek from Plum. Thanks @kevin for hunting us 🙏 We've been building Plum for three years now, and our product gives us the chance of witnessing firsthand how some of India's most progressive startups bake in a culture of care baked from day one. There is no doubt that India's startups are willing to go above and beyond to do right by their team. However, I believe this is just the beginning of something bigger. A culture of care needs to be synonymous with India's startup ecosystem. For that to happen, it needs to transcend everything we do – policies, benefits, perks, and communication. The People Success Resource Kit is our first step in that direction: https://www.plumhq.com/hr-templa... After careful introspection, we came up with 25+ resources that we think reflect our identity as a progressive employer. In the spirit of paying it forward, we're making this repository public, along with all our documented research and inspiration. This is a living, breathing resource. We will constantly update it as we learn and grow, and we'd love to learn from you. If you have any feedback, recommendations, or anything you think other people leaders will find useful, tell us about it in the comments.
Paolo De Giglio 🚀
Wow, this is such a great initiative, and it's free 🤩 I'm really looking forward to seeing how this resource can help my startup!

Ganapathi Ramanathan
@paolo_degiglio do elaborate? Do you find it hard to delegate work to your people ops team?

Shreyas Achar
@orkun_karagoz thank you so much Orkun! Which part of the kit did you like?
Orkun Karagöz
@superiorpickle I love the "content that we love" and "people-first companies" parts. Wish there were more companies in the people-first companies part, it is always inspiring to look at cultures of successful companies :)
Ganapathi Ramanathan
@orkun_karagoz Hey Orkun, we'll be updating it as and when we find great progressive policies and companies! Do you have any suggestions we could add to that section?
Orkun Karagöz
💡 Bright idea
@ganapathi_ramanathan1 terra, a product launched here before, had an amazing resource for company culture decks: https://tettra.com/article/compa... Not sure whether the companies in this list still applies those values but would be great to check them out!
Ganapathi Ramanathan
@orkun_karagoz oh wow, this is really cool! This definitely deserves a place in Content we loved - thanks so much for the recommendation. 🙌

Hello, world glad to present the People Success Resource Kit to you. @abhishekpoddar has said it all. I wanted to write a post with bullet points about this, but figured I'd do it in poetry: One day, we wondered where does one go for writing words in comms and memos Did downloaded templates really spark joy Or were they devoid of emotions lifeless, and annoyed If a culture of care is supposed to transcend all then my feedback email really dropped the ball So that day, we decided that enough was enough delighting our team shouldn’t be so tough After talking to our people team we got together to write Empathetic employee comms All designed to delight We also recorded what we learned from some of the finest Among them included Meesho, Obvious, and Doist That’s when we realized We couldn't have done this without them All their efforts walked So that our efforts could run If a culture of care is supposed to transcend all then it must be accessible sans boundaries and company walls So today, we made the decision to make this collection open-source Duplicate, build on it, share feedback for this is everybody’s resource. Let us know what you think!
@ganapathi_ramanathan1 very well worded! Congrats on your launch🚀 We’re launching Insight7, an AI powered product discovery tool that automates the customer research process 10x faster. Would really appreciate your support here (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...) Thank you!

This is such a refreshing launch on PH. Seeing people succeed and grow is the best part of company building—but under appreciated. Definitely bookmarking this one!

This is fab! Super helpful for the people community. BRB. Sending to a ton of folks at The Talent Deck :)
Emily Armando
LOVE this as someone in people ops. I'm always searching around for email templates and asking Slack communities for best practices on compayn comms.
Ganapathi Ramanathan
@emily_armando this is EXACTLY what our people ops team told us too, we're glad it resonates! What do you think we should add in version 2?
Dhwani
As a non-People Success operator who has built their career in startups - this has been a wonderfully enlightening resource. I strongly believe that people are any startup's largest moat - and I constantly try to upskill myself when it comes to people management/culture so that I can do right by my team (given I don't have any formal education/experience in this space). Very excited to share this resource kit with fellow operators who care about their people!
Ganapathi Ramanathan
@dhwaninanavati thanks Dhwani! Do tag other people leaders who we can learn from. :D
Bren Kinfa 💎 SaaS Gems
What a fantastic resource. Thanks for putting this together! 🔥
Ganapathi Ramanathan
@saasdesigner thank you Bren! Next step - really well-designed emails. What would you want in your email from people ops teams tho?
Murali Gottumukkala
Good Luck Shreyas !
Ganapathi Ramanathan
@murali_aasaan On behalf of Shreyas, I say thanks! XD I'm curious, what's the biggest challenge you've had with your people processes? Asking so that we can try to include it in version 2.0 if it's not there already.
Shreyas Achar
@murali_aasaan thank you so much Murali!
Vikram Aditya
Love it, thanks for sharing @anjanay_saxena You should check this.
Ganapathi Ramanathan
@vikramaditya94 @anjanay_saxena thanks, both! Do share feedback and recommendations, we'll incorporate them in version 2.0!
Praveen Thirumurugan
This is amazing! The team never fails to impress the HR community.
Sule Gorgulu
Congrats, team!
Ganapathi Ramanathan
@sule_gorgulu thanks Sule, do share it with your people success team! Also curious - as a BDR, what do you think people leaders can learn about prospecting and sending emails to talent?
