Hey Charlie, congrats on the launch! Okay, so just being real, I have seen a few free tools that let you tweak avatars, so I was curious what makes pfp.fm stand out. I mean, paying $1 feels super affordable, but it also makes me wonder what I’m getting here that I wouldn’t with a free AI avatar tool. Is it the quality? Styles? Ownership rights?
@hamza_afzal_butt Hey! Appreciate your comment. pfp.fm uses the SOTA OpenAI image generation model, which is relatively expensive. A free equivalent would likely use an inferior model or be subsidized via ads or some other monetization mechanism.
Also I’ve spent a lot of time and effort optimizing the prompts to get consistent results, and making the whole experience smooth and straightforward!

From a product point of view, I think it would be essential to communicate this message to users. Maybe make a separate tab or a tab in the pricing section like ‘why others do it for free and we charge you $1 and why it's worth it’ @charlie_clark
