Talk to a vet online 24/7, get $3,000 in case of emergency for all your pets for less than $1 per day. Protect up to 6 pets with a single plan. Any dog or cat is covered, regardless of age, breed, and medical history.
Hey hunters,
Andrey here with Petcube and our latest product — Emergency Fund. We are well known for interactive cameras, but we’ve been moving beyond hardware for a while now. Petcube is focused on services that can better pet parents' lives with tech.
Emergency Fund is an insurance alternative, a safety net for your pet’s well-being that offers financial aid for unexpected vet expenses, up to $3,000 a year. Vet bills are no joke and can put a dent in the budget, especially when they pop out of nowhere. EF covers you right after treatment, without payback waiting period.
Policy here is quite neat, we cover pets of all breeds, ages, and medical histories. You can register up to 6 animals. Also you get 24/7 access to online chat with certified veterinarians. It’s way better than googling up symptoms. EF is easy to operate, it’s affordable with only $29/month. There’s an exclusive discount for the PH community, hit that Visit button in the header.
I'll hang around for any questions about EF or the future of pet tech. Thanks a ton for your support and upvotes. Please share the product with pet parents who could benefit from it.
@_klen What an innovative idea, Petcube! Love the concept of affordable pet care and the added feature of a 24/7 vet chat. Quick question - Is the coverage available globally or just in specific regions? Great job, team!
@_klen Pet insurance has been a total lifesaver for us - interesting play on that here. Also an interesting subscription product for our Pay by Bank payment method...we're solving involuntary churn by billing at the right time of the month for a customer and offer a discount to the customer since it costs much less to transact by bank than via cards. Would love to chat!
Pet insurance should not break your bank.
And it should be as easy as possible to get your bills covered when an emergency happens.
That's why created "Emergency Fund". Enjoy :)
Congrats on the launch! To be honest, for $29/month I’d be willing to pay for the online vet only. The insurance looks like an insane bonus to that.
Considering your main product are pet cameras, can owners also give access to the videos to your online vets for better diagnostics?
@kay_larina thanks! it's really easy to grab videos from the stream or the cloud storage timeline but we are considering streamlining this even more for smoother vet interactions.
Congratulations on launching Emergency Fund! 🇺🇦
I'm so proud of Ukrainian products like yours 💔
Unexpected vet bills can indeed be quite daunting. The 24/7 access to certified veterinarians is a particularly thoughtful feature 👏🐾
What regions do you cover now?
A pet-focused, non-AI launch!? Speaking my language! 😆 My dog is turning 13 this year so her health (and quick access to help) have been on my mind. She had a seizure in the middle of the night around Christmas and I would have LOVED to have 24/7 online chat support.
Congrats on the launch! 🙌
Congrats on the launch! is the coverage world wide? as I understand it covers a single event per year up to 3k usd. 2 emergencies in the same year are covered if below the threshold?
Very cool! Sort of like AFLAC for pets, in a way + telemedicine. I've been recently looking for an alternative to the standard pet insurance I've had, which keeps getting more expensive (now paying $148/mo for 1 dog & 1 cat).
How is your program different from PAWP? From what I can tell, the benefits are exactly the same. Only difference I can tell is the cost.
@jashenk it is quite similar, but at this stage we are more robust with processing requests and feedback, another pro is that app experience is enhanced when you have Petcube interactive cameras connected so you can monitor your pets better and flag any health anomalies.
I wish I'd known about the Emergency Fund sooner! It seems really affordable, and inclusive! I do have a quick question though: Can the fund be used at any local vet hospital?
A friend of mine spent 10k on surgery for his dog, Lil' (a Terranova) in NYC
I'll tell him to take a trip back in time to purchase this
No, seriously guys, this is great for all pet lovers!
I wonder if the insurance is available worldwide?
First time seeing this type of service on PH and i love it.
You got after a super specific but super wide niche.
I applaud the Business plan + the noble cause.
Well done guys sincerely! @_klen@yaroslavazhnyuk
A great product launch both in terms of the idea and the marketing 👏 It's nice to see an actual product on product hunt as opposed to the pure AI hype raging across the platform. Having an emergency fund for a loved animal is a great idea and at the right pricing point it can be a must-have.
I always get so overwhelmed with insurance stuff (even for myself, not telling about pets). Thanks for making it incredibly easy! Huge shoutout to the whole team for such a game-changing idea! 💖
Wooooow, do you have it internationally? Or does insurance have coverage in specific countries only?
Feels like a game-changer in the pet-care industry 🙌
At the first glance, insurance may seem something unimportant until the moment your loved pet start suffering from a decease or anything like this. Insurance is the thing that pays much more in a long-term period.
Thank you guys for this pet fund!
Congratulations on the launch! Definitely a useful service for pet owners. Vet is right there for you in your smartphone for a quick consultation when it's needed!
