@_klen Pet insurance has been a total lifesaver for us - interesting play on that here. Also an interesting subscription product for our Pay by Bank payment method...we're solving involuntary churn by billing at the right time of the month for a customer and offer a discount to the customer since it costs much less to transact by bank than via cards. Would love to chat!

Congrats on the launch! To be honest, for $29/month I’d be willing to pay for the online vet only. The insurance looks like an insane bonus to that.
Considering your main product are pet cameras, can owners also give access to the videos to your online vets for better diagnostics?
@kay_larina thanks! it's really easy to grab videos from the stream or the cloud storage timeline but we are considering streamlining this even more for smoother vet interactions.
A pet-focused, non-AI launch!? Speaking my language! 😆 My dog is turning 13 this year so her health (and quick access to help) have been on my mind. She had a seizure in the middle of the night around Christmas and I would have LOVED to have 24/7 online chat support.

Congrats on the launch! is the coverage world wide? as I understand it covers a single event per year up to 3k usd. 2 emergencies in the same year are covered if below the threshold?

Very cool! Sort of like AFLAC for pets, in a way + telemedicine. I've been recently looking for an alternative to the standard pet insurance I've had, which keeps getting more expensive (now paying $148/mo for 1 dog & 1 cat).
How is your program different from PAWP? From what I can tell, the benefits are exactly the same. Only difference I can tell is the cost.
@jashenk it is quite similar, but at this stage we are more robust with processing requests and feedback, another pro is that app experience is enhanced when you have Petcube interactive cameras connected so you can monitor your pets better and flag any health anomalies.

A great product launch both in terms of the idea and the marketing 👏 It's nice to see an actual product on product hunt as opposed to the pure AI hype raging across the platform. Having an emergency fund for a loved animal is a great idea and at the right pricing point it can be a must-have.

At the first glance, insurance may seem something unimportant until the moment your loved pet start suffering from a decease or anything like this. Insurance is the thing that pays much more in a long-term period.
