@nicolasegosum E-signatures are coming soon! It’s a common ask from customers as a required attestation method for stricter compliance use cases or different types of verifications. Even better if it helps customers consolidate existing tools. Our goal is to help customers seamlessly and securely collect any piece of sensitive information, including e-signatures.
@vincent_tsao Would be great for us to verify plus ask to esign a contract in one shot. If you can also ask custominput fields would be perfect.

I've known Charles (from Brown) and Rick (from KP Fellows) for a long time and couldn't be more excited to share what they are working on at Persona. Are you able to give any details on how much of the verification process is automated and where it falls back to human verification?
@_duncanhall Thanks for your support, Duncan! One of the best parts about Persona is that it’s a technology-driven solution and fully automated. There’s no humans in the loop on our end, which ensures that customers can verify users within seconds without being exposed to the liability of dealing with personal data. We know, however, that there are always scenarios where customers may need to manually review or verify a submission (e.g. suspicious IP address). Customers can set up automated workflows to flag these verifications and route them to manual review. Let us know if you have any other questions!

COVID accelerated many of the trends we were already seeing. The biggest one being, more and more interactions moving online, which forced us to think deeply about what a truly seamless, secure, flexible online identity experience looks like. There’s been some other challenges/opportunities that may be more specific to the pandemic, like certain industries experiencing tailwinds (e.g. telemedicine, digital currency, delivery) and others being hit disproportionately hard. At the end of the day, while we hope the pandemic ends soon, it’s definitely driven more awareness in the importance of online identity.
Huge fan of Rick and Persona team, and whenever I intro them to a company, I get feedback that they were the perfect team and product to meet with. Congrats on the launch of the new Starter Plan!

I have a question: if I want to be verified on three services that use Persona. Do I need to send a selfie three times through your product or can this be done once and the system will remember my data and I won't have to identify myself many times? Do you plan to add this feature?

You would need to send your selfie three times in the same way that you scan your selfie every time you FaceID onto an iPhone! Our selfie process is seamless and fast (taking seconds to complete) and ensures that you are who you are every time you use our product.
We do have plans to add features to protect your identity across services to prevent identity theft. For example, if we see that you verified yourself in California for one service and then immediately verified yourself again in another country for another service, our service would flag that and require additional scrutiny before allowing you to sign up.

This product is so needed right now as the Covid-19 accelerated more and more interactions moving online. Such a trend comes with fake accounts, fraud, and other issues which forced us to think deeply about what a truly seamless, secure, flexible online identity experience looks like
At Pure Moderation, we have been working with companies to do ID verification. We verified user identities by cross-checking their passports or ID cards with images, short videos submitted by the users.
We are interested in working with Persona team. Would it's possible for us to have a chat to discuss working together?
I'm really curious to see how social media companies could use Persona's technology. @karaswisher and scott galloway often discuss how anonymity plays a part in the "social dilemma" and how identity verification could play a role in the solution. There are other products trying to "make internet conversations positive", but identity is often a missing piece.

I spent a good 7-8 months solving this problem for one of the biggest fintechs in the world (10b+ valuation). And this looks like it could solve the problems we were dealing with very well.
I believe there are some other solutions out there like Mati, Veriff, or Acuant to name a few.
How is this better? @neelb @iamnotdan @eeeeej @ricksong
and how about verifying b2b? The fintech I was working for was pure b2b, which has a whole list of other issue, currently not solved by b2c solutions.

Beyond verification tools, Persona also provides connections to 3rd party sources such as global Watchlist and Sanctions and surfaces passive fraud signals. Customers can set up automated workflows to flag verifications based on all the signals available and route them to manual review.
