Transform your home workouts with an adorable AI companion who motivates, guides, and celebrates your wellness journey. Buddy adapts to your pace and makes exercise fun!
Hi Product Hunt Community!
I’m Yan, a fitness enthusiast and aspired physical therapist who keeps thinking about how can we make humans work towards better selves with the help of AI. At the end of the day, you need to move those freaking legs! That’s why my friend and I built Pep - an AI physical therapy coach designed to motivate you through home workouts, especially those sneaky small muscle groups we often neglect that leads to pain.
Our app combines live posture correction, voice interaction, and (yes) a dog avatar—because who doesn’t want a workout buddy that never skips leg day? 🐕
This is a barebones MVP, but we’re building in public and would love your feedback:
- Does the voice coaching feel natural? How you like the voice interaction?
- Is the posture feedback actually helpful?
- How do you like our puppy?
Whether you’re a gym rat, dealing with desk-job stiffness, or just curious about AI fitness, we’d love to hear how this could work better for you. Let’s make movement fun again!
@kay_arkain Thanks for giving it a try! Right now we try to maximize voice interaction, so the lovely puppy would ask you "what is your pain point and from 1-10 how much you rate."
Are you suggesting a more UI focused method- say we show a human body and you can pin point where it hurts + a slide scale would serve you better? Would love more thoughts on this!
Congrats on the launch, Yan and team! 🎉 This is such a clever idea—combining PT with an adorable dog avatar is genius (and seriously cute!). Love how it corrects posture in real-time to prevent bad habits. A few questions:
Any plans to add more puppy coach options? Different breeds/personalities would be fun!
Does it support languages beyond English?
Is an Android version coming soon?
Excited to see how this grows—might finally make home workouts stick for me! 🐶💪
@rani_zagita Thanks for the encouraging words! Really means a lot to me and the team! Other language can be supported but we are focusing on English first. Android won’t be supported in near term cuz we are a two people team sadly. But if you have tested the test flight version, can we get more insight on how you like the interaction? What are something surprising to you? Both good and bad? We wonder if more subtle changes in the animation/ voice could make it feel more personal. 💙

@yanffyy This is cute and practical! Congrats on the launch :)
It’s such a fun way to stay motivated—feels less like a chore and more like a game.
That's great! When first logging in, is it possible to set preferences based on the area needing physical therapy or the intensity level?
