@skeeater Hey Keaton! Thanks for the feedback. While Peeptrade and Stocktwits are similar, there are some notable differences. The key difference in my opinion is that you can see a trader's actual portfolio and trading activity. So you don't have to take someone's word that they've made excellent trades on a message board, you can actually peep their profile and see if they're putting their money where their mouth is!

Hi everyone! This is Juan from Peetprade. Peeptrade is an award-winning social network and financial information platform that allows people to “peep” into the success of other investors. We allow users to gain access to the portfolios and investment history of investors, while being a ‘one-stop shop’ for investment information. The platform also serves as a social network for investors, allowing them to share knowledge, build trusted relationships, and discuss developments in the financial markets.
After working for some major financial corporations, I was exposed to a lot of the problems in the financial services industry. That’s how I came up with Peeptrade! I hope Peeptrade can not only empower more self-directed investors, but also bring some much-needed transparency into the financial world!
We decided to celebrate our official launch today by announcing the Peeptrade University Challenge! In this program, teams of graduate students from top business schools will manage real portfolios with real money. On the platform, you can follow the portfolios and trading activity of these graduate investment clubs by paying a small subscription fee. What’s really great is that all the proceeds of this program will be donated to charity!

two questions: 1) this has been tried before, why is this time different? 2) i see lots of options traders, is there a way to isolate to just stock or etf and so on?

1) Peeptrade is the first platform integrated with thousands of brokers and financial institutions, anyone can upload their portfolio in a matter of seconds. It is the first social platform that also provides market news and financial information.
2)There is no filter at the moment, but you can sort the traders by strategy (stocks, derivatives, etc)
