Apps similar to these should be on the smartphones of teenagers to prepare them for the future and finance literacy. Wishing you good luck with the cool idea! :)

@busmark_w_nika
Appreciate the kind words. If you ever have ideas on how we can make it even more useful, I’m all ears!
@busmark_w_nika @yemyat Teens and their allowance managed by their parents could be a great way to extend this to payments!

This looks really neat! congrats on launching. I couldn't find pricing info on your site, so I'm curious how you plan to monetize?
@catt_marroll Currently it's free beta. But eventually we're going to do subscriptions.

@shioju cool! thanks for the info!

Was an early user of Peek. The team's progress has blown me away. Can't wait to see what's coming up.
For everyone stuggling to keep your finances in check, definitely check this out!

Hi, saw the demo, it was pretty fun and not a chore like other finance apps. How does it know the food spending, do we have to manually enter these spendings or does it integrate with other apps?
Peek
@susaana_s You don't have to manually enter the spendings for integrations that we support through Plaid.
Exactly. Financial apps often feel cold and confusing. In that sense, Peek seems like a really well-designed app.
By the way, do users need to manually enter each expense to use it? If it supports integration, which countries are currently supported?
Peek
@kay_arkain We currently support US with more countries coming soon: 🇨🇦 🇬🇧 🇩🇪 🇫🇷.

This looks really cool, I suck at personal finance and this seems super neat and nice to use.
@absurdfounder a lot of us struggle with personal finance, it's pretty normal! that's why we're building this to be a much more intuitive and fun experience for managing money!
an intersting concept. good luck with the launch, team @Peek
@taniabell thank you Tania! :) appreciate your support!

@neelptl2602 Thank you!
This app should be mandatory for all teenagers. All the luck with your launch!
@michael_vavilov start them young i guess :)
I've had the chance to use the desktop app version of this and I really liked it, so I had subscribed for it. I'm also part of the WhatsApp group created by the CEO, Sherry Jiang, where the Peek team would inform us of the updates as beta products. It's a solid product.
Plaid is a great way of interacting with the APIs from different banks, which I was first introduced to when I was using @Spendee . The major improvements of this platform over Spendee are:
Peek gives you a better breakdown of your net worth categories
Peek allows you to track your net worth goal across the specified time horizon
Peek gives you great recommendations for how you can diversify your portfolio based on metrics like Asset Allocation Risk Analysis and ETF overlap monitor
Peek has open source Pubs that you can contribute to: https://github.com/sherryyjiang/peek
The major issue I faced was not due to Peek itself, but because DBS stopped its plug and play with Plaid some time ago, preferring the native PayNow integration, I'm unable to fetch the assets dynamically from DBS.
Of course, the mobile app does not have the same kind of granularity at this point that the desktop app does, but I'm sure that will change down the line. The mobile app is in some ways more user friendly, and a great tool to have. I'd recommend this for a wide range of audiences.
@aadit_kamat Thank you so much Aadit for your support for Peek from day 1. Without you as a beta tester, we wouldn't have gotten to where we are today. Still much to improve about the experience, but your feedback has been so helpful!
Yikes...I mean I don't know if I want someone to look at my spending habits...
BUT on the other hand it's probably a good thing right...right...
I'm gonna check it out & see what happens, might be the best decision I make...the UI looks insanely clean & I look forward to trying it!

@cranqnow let us know if you run into any issues!
@yemyat I'll be sure to Jeff!
