Best Clipboard Manager for Mac?
@Paste just launched their latest version, and tbh I'm considering switching over but I'm curious to hear what other people use?
I know @Raycast has a pretty powerful and integrated one that I'm considering using. I currently use @ Pasta which I love.
Do folks have any they recommend? What's the consensus?

I’ve been using Paste for a while and honestly can’t imagine my workflow without it. Super clean interface and syncing across devices is seamless.

@willow_vaughn how's the iOS app like?

Hey Gabe, just wondering what's making you consider Paste over Pasta?

@wessley I've used Pasta for as long as I can remember, so just out of comfort. I have the keyboard shortcut memorized and am able to save favorites, sort by types, has some nice features, and it's free!
I've tried the two apps you mentioned, and now I am using @PastePal , which I love for its show/hide side panel. Furthermore, it receives frequent updates.
To elevate my workflow, I also use the file management app iBoysoft MagicMenu, which allows me to quickly create new files, access software, open documents, copy file paths, move (cut) files, take screenshots, and find duplicate pictures—all with a single right-click.

@harold_gary I might have to try PastePal! Looks decent and.... free!?
Clipboard mangers are underrated! I’ve tried a few but settled on CopyClip. It’s simple and sits quietly in the menu bar.

@mark__wood what made you choose @Copyclip?
Seems like both Paste and Pasta do the same thing, but present the clipboard differently. For me Paste works because it's not in the way, it's not another window.
Raycast's clipboard history is not as visual, but it's easier to do actions on it. I seldomly use that feature of Raycast.
It depends on how the tool fits your workflow. In 99% of the time, I only need my very recent history, or some bookmarked items, and I think Paste is a great fit there.

@jonaswouters oh that's a good perspective - didn't really think about the visual component and how it impacts workflow. Raycast isn't that visual and I lean more that way. Also noticed Paste isn't free, so that's probably what's been holding me back

One of the tools I could not live without, I like Raycast, but the UX of a modal usually hides my current context, Paste remains my best solution

@christophepas good to know! Yeah I couldn't get the Raycast clipboard to work for my workflow

@mastropino what do you like about it?

I use Paste mainly because if i used Paste for clipboard history i wouldn’t be able to paste text inside Raycast.
I use Pasty, it's very similar to Paste, in fact I prefer it. It doesn't have an IOS app. It has monthly, yearly and a life plan.

Raycast
@aaronthorne why do you prefer it?
@chrismessina I used Paste for years, there were a few things that I didn't like too much. I tried Pasty a few weeks ago, I just find it tidier than paste and a bit easier to use. They do look very similar. The layout is a bit more logical for me too.
now changing my current clipboard. Interesting thing
Been eyeing @Paste too—it looks slick. Still sticking with my current tool for now, but definitely tempted to try it out.
