Paragon Connect allows developers to embed user-facing SaaS integrations into their product in minutes. Setup the Paragon SDK once and instantly integrate your product with popular SaaS apps like Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, JIRA, and more.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
We created Paragon Connect with the vision of making it easy to integrate your product with other SaaS apps in minutes instead of months ("Plaid for SaaS apps")
Today, the average company uses over 100 different cloud apps. If you’re a B2B software company, your customers have probably asked “do you integrate with Salesforce / Slack / HubSpot / JIRA / etc.?”
But integrations get backlogged b/c building in-house is a HUGE engineering lift. Learning the nuances of each vendor’s API and authentication methods, managing user tokens, etc. can take months of engineering per integration.
Here's how Paragon helps you ship SaaS integrations in minutes:
⚡️ Embed Paragon’s SDK in your app with a few lines of code and instantly ‘switch on’ integrations with any of our supported app providers.
👩🏻💻 Paragon provides ready-made UI for your customers to connect their SaaS apps and manage their integration settings.
🛠 Define integration logic with Paragon’s visual workflow editor, or use Paragon’s REST API to access the app provider’s API directly.
🔐 Paragon provides fully managed authentication, so you don’t need to worry about different authentications strategies for each provider.
Starting today, you can sign up for a free 14-day trial of Connect here. As thanks to the Product Hunt community, we're offering a PH-exclusive discount of 35% off your first year if you upgrade in April with the code PHPARAGON
Thanks for joining our launch, and looking forward to your feedback / questions in the comments!
@foolywk This is great, I'll definitely be checking it out. Some feedback, it would be nice if the demo video started by showing the end result. It wasn't clear from the beginning that you were actually building a customer-facing Slack integration (which is very cool btw).
@eugenehp The workflow editor components are all our own, and we render the edges/paths between steps with SVGs that scale to the right width for a branch/group of steps (i.e., a branch will be wider if it contains multiple fanout or conditional blocks within it). vector-effect: non-scaling-stroke is a key part of making that stretching look smooth 😄
Very impressive product @ishthedestroyer@foolywk and team, we could've used this when building integrations @ Enplug for our customers. I dig the "Plaid for SaaS apps" positioning. I'll recommend this to others! 🚀💪
As an early beta tester, I can testify that Paragon is EXACTLY what I want when I’m building out new stuff. It strikes the balance of simplicity in power. It is truly the Webflow of automation tools.
Super excited to show everyone what our team's been working on! Over the last year, we've had tens of millions of automations run on Paragon with use cases we would've never dreamt of. With Paragon Connect, our mission is to make it 100x easier to integrate these workflows natively in your apps without spending countless hours setting it up. Let us know what you think 🚀
This is such a big time-saver for us! Especially having pre-built connect and configuration pages, that's a ton of dev work that we no longer need to do. Congrats to @foolywk and @ishthedestroyer for making such an awesome product :)
Very awesome! Congrats on the launch. @foolywk — Brandon, awesome to see a fellow Bruin building cool things. Would love to chat and hear more about Paragon's story ⚒️
Paragon Connect gives an embedded solution for integrating product with third-party SaaS apps, providing seamless, unified integration experience. This allows teams to avoid the cost, time, and risk that comes with building and maintaining their own integrations solution.
I got to see a quick demo of Paragon Connect from Ishmael and it's a super impressive tool. Definitely looking forward to diving deeper into what I can do with Connect, especially around providing HubSpot integrations for my clients.
Congrats on the launch, Paragon team!
Incredible product by the team! Much better (and needed) model compared to Zapier. Instead of confusing user with a separate website, account, billing model, having a native solution will dramatically improve churn.
@jo_m Thanks! Paragon is specific to the integrations side of a product, so it can help offload the (not fun) engineering work associated with that: adding configuration UI for each integration, access token management, stitching third-party APIs together, managing webhooks, etc.
We simplify that by hosting a configuration modal for your integrations and providing a low-code workflow editor to deal with third-party logic instead 🙂 I see Retool as addressing a more generic set of problems building internal tools, particularly around common CRUD scaffolding work.
The UI that Paragon hosts for your end users is a bit like Retool's "Auth Login" feature. We include some extra stuff, like preconfigured picklists for each integration (e.g., Channels or Users for Slack) and tying users' integration state with your app's existing auth sessions. But to my knowledge Retool can't run anything in response to integration-driven events, like "when someone updates a new record in my user's Salesforce account, sync that into our database." That's where our workflow editor would come in!
I can actually see Paragon fitting in really nicely to some Retool apps to accomplish what its Auth Login cannot (and for supporting integrations that Retool doesn't have)! You can embed the Paragon Connect portal just about anywhere 😄
@thatethanlee wow super cool, thanks for responding so thoroughly! very exciting to think of all the possibilities of paragon + retool and can't wait to take it for a spin. :)
