I’m Jordan, co-founder and CEO of Parabol. I’m excited to share our new backlog grooming and collaborative estimation meeting tool with you.
Sprint Poker is the result of research we’ve conducted with agile teams around the world. Teams struggled manually copying story details and estimates from one tool to another or counting fingers on a video call, all while trying to make sure they weren’t anchoring one another.
So we built a tool that makes the process better and works with your workflow. Here’s what’s neat about it:

🧊 Icebreakers built-in to warm the team up – Up your team’s connection and psychological safety with a short optional icebreaker before getting started.
⚙️ Open source to build trust – We believe in transparency, so we build in the open. Check out our source code on GitHub. Parabol can be self-hosted for sensitive organizations.
⭐ One tool, multiple agile ceremonies – Parabol is purpose-built for agile. Use Sprint Poker and benefit from our Retrospective and Check-In meeting formats too. Parabol is free for up to two teams.

I've been searching for something with *exactly* these features. And we already use Parabol for retros. We'll definitely try it out very soon.

- our integrations (import and export) are free
- you can use us async, with full threaded discussion
- we create beautiful meeting summaries, and organize them on a timeline

It is a really cool feature, and I find it really useful. I personally don’t play poker that much, even though my gambling journey started when my friends and I played poker after school. Over the years, I have tried all sorts of gambling games, and I can easily say that my favorite is definitely slot games.
