Optimizing link clicks from social platforms: Browser vs in-app?

Hey folks 👋
We're working on improving the experience when someone clicks your link in your socials bio.

When you share a link in your IG bio or story, would you rather the person who clicks:

👉 stays in the social (IG, tiktok...) in-app browser
or
🌐 gets taken to their default browser (Safari, Chrome, etc)?

We want to get a feel for what feels better to you (or your audience).
If you’ve had frustrations with this before, we’d love to hear them too 🙏
