OverLoad Fitness - The Strava for lifting to track your gains

OverLoad is yet another workout tracker. I built OverLoad because I wanted a simple and effective lifting tracker that does not slow you down at the gym, and allows you to share your workouts with friends and followers effortlessly.

Hey Product Hunt community! I’m thrilled to launch OverLoad Fitness, a workout tracker built by a gym enthusiast for lifters who crave simplicity, community, and progress without the clutter of ads or overcomplicated features. Why did I build this? As someone who lives for the gym, I was frustrated by workout apps that either bogged me down with clunky interfaces or distracted me with ads and irrelevant features. I wanted a tool that felt like a training partner—one that makes logging seamless, supports progressive overload, and connects me with a community of lifters to stay motivated. OverLoad was born to help lifters like me focus on what matters: lifting more, tracking progress, and sharing the journey. What’s new and unique? Unlike other trackers like Strong or Hevy, OverLoad combines dead-simple workout logging with a vibrant social hub. Our monthly competitions with badges gamify your lifts, and you can share workouts or templates with friends. No ads, ever—just a clean, powerful experience tailored for serious lifters. Plus, our Push/Pull/Legs program and 110+ included workouts make it easy to jump in or customize your own. What am I most proud of? I’m incredibly proud of how OverLoad balances power and simplicity. Firstly, OverLoad packs a bunch of powerful features that the user may not even notice - and thats the point. It's designed to be as light weight and functional as possible, and that means a lot of work behind the curtain to make a functional, feature rich final product. The community aspect—seeing users share workouts, compete on leaderboards, and inspire each other—is a game-changer. Features like the automatic rest timer and progressive overload tools (like copying last week’s sets and adding 5lbs with a tap) make every session feel effortless yet focused. Knowing OverLoad helps lifters stay dialed in and hit new PRs while connecting with others keeps me pumped! Excited to hear your thoughts, feedback, and gym stories! Let’s lift smarter and grow stronger together with OverLoad Fitness. 💪 Check it out on the App Store and let me know how it fits into your fitness journey!

@overload  Maybe a “gym streak” tracker to gamify consistency too?

Peter M

@masump Thanks for the idea! I definitely think gamifying is important, its why I added leaderboards as well. You just sparked an idea for the calendar - maybe I'll color code the days you work out so theres like a "streak" effect so three days in a row its a flame or trophy rather than just another green box. Thanks!!

Love the no-frills, gym-friendly approach and the social sharing aspect. Sometimes simplicity and speed are exactly what lifters need. Great job building something that actually fits real workout routines!

Peter M

@supa_l Thanks so much for the kind words! That is exactly what I've been chasing - something simple and speedy. No annoying popups, no paywall, no ads, just as few buttons as possible to log your workouts and keep track of progress. Appreciate the support!

Launching soon!

Interesting. Could have extended use cases too.

Peter M

@manu_goel2 Thanks for your comment! It's a super competitive niche and I have a number of features I'd love to add, but want to make sure folks like the idea first. I'll likely be adding export of your calendar/badges/workouts to instagram and other platforms, an internal algorithm that will suggest changes to your workouts (IE. do less sets of this, try to increase the weight on this, etc). Always interested in what people want to see as features because I truly do want to make this an asset not just another tool.

Peter M

@manu_goel2 Following up here! Any chance you've got ideas for extended use cases? I want to make this thing feature rich but also maintain its simplicity

Launching soon!

Oooh, awesome! I like the strength training app I use (Caliber), but I don't love it. Think I'll try this out on tomorrow's lifting session! Thanks and congratulations on the launch!

how does this track my different gym exercises that I do daily?
