We built Oppla for builders of all kinds: indie devs, solopreneurs, founders, designers. Basically anyone trying to turn ideas into serious products.

@mathieusouflis as my co-founder had rightly mentioned: yes Oppla is also open sourced. But more so than Zed, we have our own propriety engine 'Cortex' built on top of Zed's open source base. This is the real GEM of Oppla, the "context stays, context grows" part :)

The concept of “context stays, context grows” is super powerful — feels like it could remove a lot of friction in building. Do you see Oppla integrating with existing dev tools (like VS Code or GitHub) in the future?
@Oppla AI has two parts of it's feature one is IDE and another is Signals. The IDE part won't connect with VS Code but signals yes.
Additionally, the IDE is by default connected with Github and we are developing automated services to raise PRs, review PRs, Bug triaging etc through Github apis. The idea is to allow humans to review and approve or let the engine work on it's own but at the end of the day this is fully automated system where you rightly put "Context Stays, Context Grows".

There's a lot to explore with Oppla. First and foremost is our team's belief in "Context is KING".
With unlimited context windows and agents that are hyper-specific to product development and product marketing, you are not shipping code, you are building serious products. Our proprietary engine (Cortex) will make you feel the difference when building with Oppla.
There is a horizontal scrolling in homepage and I don't see whenever I click on the links it is checking me to the logging in page. I can't see anything without logging in. That is an issue.

@cyrusandrew yup exactly it is built on top of Zed. but we have added much of the features such as context aware code development.
ps: you will have to setup the application with analytics script and signal generation and Sync Oppla Cloud with Oppla IDE.
Once you are done then you will know the difference
