Wow, APIs for building AI into my own projects? That’s a game-changer—been struggling to connect the dots between models and real-world apps. Super curious what dev tools you’re rolling out next!

The last time @OpenAI released an open-weight LLM was GPT-2 back in 2019. It's incredible how much the world has changed since then. :)

happy to see them releasing OSS models...

...but these look benchhacked. they hallucinate so much. potentially useful for math, coding, and some types of reasoning but that's it.

Thank you for making it OSS!

As someone building faceless YouTube scripts and Human researching Pinterest strategies for clients, I keep coming back to OpenAI tools — not just for speed, but for creativity. The power and flexibility here is unmatched. Excited to see how this platform evolves for indie creators like me.

This is seriously cool, tbh—having open-weight models like gpt-oss-120b under Apache 2.0 is a total gamechanger for devs who wanna build powerful AI stuff without jumping thru a ton of hoops. The agentic tasks angle is realy next-level, too. Huge props for making this accessible to the whole community—super pumped to try it out!
