I really look forward to the day when these companies' design teams actually start designing instead of just xeroxing iPhones.

I wonder how One Plus can scale if they continue with the invitation system (now only for 1 month, thankfully), reaching it's greatest fans but not the general audience/common user
Andy Zhang
@johntheoak we're not at a scale yet to have significant negotiating power over our supply chain, the invite system's primary function is still to address this risk. But we're getting pretty confident :)

@yesokayawesome @johntheoak hope you guys can keep up the pace in the "mobile race" while still not having the scale to have significant negotiating power over your supply chain, specially when other "less-familiar" phone makers don't have a invitation system. Still, a phone that I'm eager to buy :)

It looks like a great phone, but it's pretty disingenuous to talk about "expressing individuality" when most (or at least many) people are going to mistake it for an iPhone.

Looks great! $249 is a great price for a phone with the design and specs it has :)

So an iPhone 5 or a Huawei Ascend P7?

Not really feeling this invite system it takes too long to get the phone after it's been ordered. I had ordered the OnePlusOne last year around this time and the phone was awesome just wasn't feeling the wait. I understand why it's beneficial for OnePlus to operate under this workflow though.

The price is indeed amazing...

The question is what the price is going to be?
