Olympian Motors is a new, disruptive automaker, creating new "experience-first" Electric Vehicles.
We're building the most aesthetic & minimalistic EVs of the 21st century, prioritizing aesthetics over horsepower, UX over torque and quality over quantity.

Has the vehicle been approved by U.S. regulators? If not, why is it being advertised as street-legal? And what process will be used to crash-test the vehicle to bolster the "safety and security" claims?
Eren Canarslan
@jordankrueger Yes, Olympian O1 is fully street-legal in the U.S. as we are planning the first commercial shipment by November 2022. Please feel free to reach out for further details.
Alex Aubert
Roughly 8 months before shipping the first car, and there is not a single photo of the actual car 🤔 Highly doubtful about the timeline here... Interesting concept though.
Eren Canarslan
@alexaubert That's the core advantage of Olympian's fabless model. Not only you. but all legacy automakers and monopolies will be surprised very soon. Please reach out for if you're interested in an invitation to the first Olympian O1 reveal event in June.

>"prioritizing aesthetics over horsepower, user experience over torque, and simplicity." seems to contradict with >"swapping out tons of button and switches for an augmented reality HUD (heads up display) with voice-assistant and head/eye-tracking applications." I want a car that doesn't have a HUD, but has analog buttons. That doesn't have a voice-assistant, and that doesn't have eye-tracking.
Eren Canarslan
@crobertsbmw Chase, Olympian cars are exactly built for that purpose. You can activate "the full-privacy mode" and simply turn these functions off from the dashboard. Then, you have a complete 1970s retro car with a modern electric drivetrain. One of our main objectives is to eliminate invasive technologies, displays, 'always-on' assistants and data-collecting applications inside the vehicle. We want to keep it simple, classy and beautiful.

Looks great. Can't wait to hear more about the vision and product.
Nick Vitsinsky
Looks like a scam. 100k for what? Badly rendered video (Shaking camera? was it made on fiverr?) and pictures? Bad UX of the website? Lack of safety (wooden cockpit, imagine what will happen if there would be car-crash)

Thank you Olympian Motors! This is what I have been craving for for years! Modern car design is so dull. We nailed it with cars from days past. This seems to use “that” to create what potentially could be extraordinary!

Great to see people pushing the boundaries of what the future could look like! Tesla definitely gives off a vibe of a sci-fi future where everyone is wearing the same monochromatic, gray jump suit with boots. Where as this feels like what I would call modern retrofuturism. I really hope to see you guys at Monterey Car Week with a working prototype
Eren Canarslan
@ianthekid You nailed it! Very well said. And, yes we will be at Monterey Car Week. Definitely reach out to me before August.
Brent Alvord
OMG I love this! I think the simplicity will appeal to a different segment of the market and you can peacefully co-exist with Tesla. and the design is 💯💯. If the safety rating is there, this would be my teenager's first car because it's less distracting, efficient, and beautiful!

congrats on the launch

So rare to see a car launch on PH :) Congrats on the launch, Motors. Olympian Motors.

This is really cool! Looking forward to seeing more updates! The footer copyright 2021 should be updated!!

I’m excited to hopefully one day see this on the road in Australia! Please don’t disappoint by focusing entirely on looks & feel, and neglect performance & range.
Robert Magrino
These are so awesome looking.
Jasmine Sungu
@rmagrino Glad to hear you like our designs, Robert! Thanks for the support.
Eren Canarslan
@rmagrino Robert, I'm glad that you liked it. I would encourage to pre-order (it's fully refundable at any time without any pre-condition)

Congratulations on the launch, in my view, the design is interesting, but I have some concerns: - 3D renders are not enough for a deposit. - Spoked wheels are a bold design statement, but I reckon they will be an inconvenience. - It's not clear how security will be handled. Looking at the rendering, there's not much space or consideration for security regulations, or even for the claims on the website. For that, I believe that the design will still change considerably. - Car looks small, and with few amenities, for the price range. Although the design is interesting, I'm not totally convinced, I believe that an "interpretation" of the style would work better (Maybach Vision 6, kind of thing?). Together with the status of batteries and micro-conductors in the world, I believe that we're going to wait awhile until this project sees the light of day. I don't mean to be negative, by any means, and I sincerely hope the project leads prove me wrong. I for one, would like to have more projects based on "elegance", like this one. This is just what I get from what I saw.

Launching soon!
This is pure gold - I'm on the lookout for a new car, I promised myself the next one would be electric - please ship to New Zealand!
Rohit Nair
Will it have any tricks up its sleeve like Bond's Aston Martin?
Iván Fanego
I don't drive, but I LOVE your designs. Great work. Super beautiful
Jasmine Sungu
@ivan_fanego Happy to hear you like our designs, Iván! Thank you so much.
Eren Canarslan
@ivan_fanego Thank you, Ivan! Maybe Olympian will make you start driving soon?!
Dalitso Banda
Wow I love the designs. Manufacturing is generally hard especially starting from the ground up. If you don't mind me asking, are you partnering with existing automakers to develop the product.
Siamak Freydoonnejad
Love the design!! Congrats- can't wait post Campfire IPO to get one :D
Eren Canarslan
@siamakfr Haha :) Siamak, you can pay by installments! Good luck with the IPO

@jasmine_sungu @eren_canarslan - Congrats on the launch! I love the styling and philosophy behind what you are doing. I've been looking hard at the EV options, trying to figure out what to get when my Telsa lease runs out this summer - and there just aren't that many other options to begin with, and none really stack up - so seeing what you are doing is very exciting. Sincere question - It seems a little early to promote a ship date 8 months from now when you are still working on a prototype ( I'd be nervous about that with a complex software project, let alone an EV). Can you provide some background on how you came up with that? Best of luck with everything!
