I'm glad to see this and more exploration of a Ready Player One-like experience. Curious to hear everyone else's initial impressions. By 2022 will Facebook Horizon achieve 10M+ monthly users?

Am I the only one tired of all the dystopia jokes every time something new comes out? I think it looks interesting and I will definitely give it a try.

Honestly this looks like a ton of fun. Cool to see such a massive company getting into this. Not surprisingly it . has not been received super well online

I am mildly surprised that no one here mentioned Second Life, which is basically the same thing. Maybe this will be better (and adding VR is nice), but I tried Second Life and thought it was pretty boring. FB has nicer budgets, that might help.
