Hey ProductHunt!
As a longtime SoundCloud user, I really enjoyed the fact that SoundCloud has a large library of music just waiting to be discovered which encourages close engagement between the artists and the rest of the community. The app also had a great UI when it comes to streaming music.
So this got me thinking, how would an application function if it was designed just solely for discovering and streaming new music? Now if it was just designed to get random tracks from SoundCloud, sure that would bring exposure to other artists, but that would not cater to the tastes of the user.
Nimbus is designed to do both - stream random tracks to find new artists that you would not have listened to before and stream the tracks you want when you don't. Nimbus will continue to find more songs based on the preferences that the user sets and could pretty much be left in the background without any interaction.
But why use Nimbus? The way Nimbus works when it comes to adding songs is choosing the best one that matches your search. No need to fuss around on choosing what remix or playlist you want to play. Just pop something in the search bar and play.
Along with being flexible, Nimbus can also be easily accessible on mobile devices without the need for another app.
I hope you guys enjoy the app! :D
Please leave what I can improve on in the app below. I'm all ears.
