@shivkapoor +1 for access here. Have tried all sorts in recent years (Trello, Asana, etc) and more recently tools like Notion but feel they are all not able to truly create a 'one tool fits all' solution. This seems promising so far. Can I play?
Shiv Kapoor
@jasondainter Sure thing! I'll expedite an invite to be sent to you by next week so you can take Nifty for a test drive. Please make sure you've already subscribed to our early access so we can shoot that invite to you.

So Nifty looks like a nifty project management tool. The design looks great and seems to have some really helpful features. @crazzzytravel and team, when do you plan to launch?
Illia Strikhar
@jadlimcaco Hey Jad, thanks for hunting us! We are working on Nifty day and night, so we can hopefully release a public beta within the next few months. However, the closed beta for early adopters will be rolling out real soon. Anyone can subscribe by clicking "Get early access" on nifty.pm✌️

@shivkapoor Any faster way to onboard Nifty?
Shiv Kapoor
@d3f3nd0r Hey Suman, we're working hard to onboard as many teams as quickly as possible. You should hear from us very soon - within the next couple weeks!

Looks really handy!

I really want to like this PM and possibly leave Flow, but how do you justify $79/month when it's beyond limited. No iOS app, no Mac app, no duplicating tasks, etc., I understand it's BETA, but how does someone justify the price for such a limited tool?

Pros:

UI, Speed

Cons:

No iOS/Mobile App, no Mac/PC app, no integrations, simple items missing

Shiv Kapoor
Hey Felix! Thanks for the honest-to-goodness feedback. While we've gotten a glowing response so far from teams who have used Nifty, its clear that there are a couple features that would solidify our platform as an all-in-one PM tool. We're excited to announce that our mobile apps and team chat messenger are both on the way, and we truly believe (based on feedback like yours) that these features will solve team's pain-points of all sizes at an extremely competitive price.
Shiv Kapoor
Hey Felix, Just wanted to leave a comment to your feedback here and let everyone know that we've revamped our pricing to pay-per-user model; $10/user (paid monthly) and $8/user (paid annually). We've also released a ton of new updates and features and would like to welcome you to give Nifty another try! Best, Shiv

Really wanted to love this as the functionality would meet a bunch of my needs, but the execution just doesn't match the expectation set by the branding.

Setting styles in the Doc feature is just plain busted. Closing edited docs doesn't always save, with no button to force a save, therefore creating confusion.

The bottom nav layout is awesome, because it's got all things within easy reach - granular tasks, high level overview and all the rest.

Overall, underwhelmed by this and kinda sad it didn't meet the needs I thought it would.

Pros:

UI and layout looks slick

Cons:

Lots of bugs, formatting docs doesn't work well (if at all) and sometimes things don't save.

looks great. So when can we take if for a spin?
Shiv Kapoor
@walofenton Thanks! We have started to send out invites beginning today. If you've already subscribed for access, you can expect yours soon. 🎉

@shivkapoor hey buddy, any chance i can get an invite? subscribed weeks ago and want to start a project with this.
Shiv Kapoor
@walofenton Hey Walo! Sorry for the late reply, seems like we didn't receive any PH notifications. Someone from our team will be reaching out to you shortly to help you get started with Nifty. Thank you for your patience :)

Hey Hunters! Shiv from Nifty here. For over the past year and so, my incredible team and I have been working on Nifty with the vision to make project management easy, fun, and efficient. Today, we’re excited to introduce Nifty to all of you. Found Nifty as the first search result in Project Management apps in PH. My colleagues were looking at workep but the reason we found Nifty's upperhand was the Group Discussion and Chat widget in-app. UI is amazing, Very User friendly. Love it.

Pros:

Simple AF, have used a ton of PM apps for our startup. All were too complicated. Nifty did not took us more than a min to get familiarized.

Cons:

Came across a bug while registering. Most of my invitee team members could not sign up due to a bug. So not sure, if it is stable.

Best PM software for NGOs and small teams! We were looking for a reasonable alternative to Asana because their pricing model is a rip off for small non-profits and I came across Nifty. I want to leave a review because we fell in love with the product and the support since @shivkapoor was super helpful to clarify some questions and accommodate our needs. Pros + possibility to assign more than 1 person to a task + awesome and responsive support + neat and intuitive UI + customizable UI, I can switch off the chat function which we don't use so the UI stays sleek + dependencies and milestones + Gantt view + Great features like integrated time tracking and custom fields that allow us to customize tasks to our needs + compared to other pm software best pricing for small teams + discount for Non-Profits Cons - What can be improved from my perspective is the mobile app but I only use the web app anyway Keep up the good work!

Ive been trialing the free plan, and 2 projects only is abit crap... but the pricing is way too expensive for me to pay for as a freelancer... back to Hassl.co for me i guess

Pros:

The app is perfect, everything about it is amazing, barring one thing.

Cons:

The price is extortionate!

There are so many project management tools out there it's tough to differentiate, I will however say that NiftyPM does it in their own unique way. Their design, flow and UX is great, they could make it perfect with a few refinements, but it's great. However, the biggest value lays in how it creates an overview for you. Watch my entire review of NiftyPM:
Using NiftyPM I have really been able to stay on top of things and not take on projects I couldn't due to my workload. It's such a great workload management tool I must say. It's so important a PM tool create breathing room for you, and you don't have to look for every single thing, their search option is great and combined with their workload management and the budget module coming up, we're going into an exciting time for NiftyPM!

Nifty has a remarkable user interface. It could very well compete with the major players in the cloud project space. But that’s where it ends. The mobile apps are buggy and support has been downward-trending. They’ve had some security and availability issues in the past—in fairness the latter has improved since they changed platforms to AWS. But a few weeks ago, we had some projects magically create themselves and users were assigned to things we hadn’t assigned them to. Support was unable to troubleshoot it. So I suspect they are having security issues. That being said, I bought a lifetime deal and I do still use it. I am careful, however, not to put ANYTHING in it that I wouldn’t want exposed to the world. I hope they fix this stuff. This platform could be great.

I wrote a relatively critical review here, before, at a time when Nifty was having major issues. They really made strides to address the concerns and, since their move to AWS, the platform has been rock solid. We haven't seen any of the weirdness that we saw in the younger platform. They absolutely have the best UX/UI we've seen in a product in this space. They have an active/engaging following online and are consistently adding new features and making product improvements. I would not hesitate to give them a recommendation at this point.
