Hi Product Hunt! 🎉 So excited to have @mwseibel hunt us, thank you!
I’m Neil, one of the co-founders at Navattic (YC W21). Our mission is to make it really easy to create shareable versions of your SaaS product.
As sales engineers, we noticed that getting prospective customers hands-on with our product was a big challenge. So, we built Navattic. It’s a no-code platform that allows growth teams to build, send, and track shareable product demos.
How It Works
🛠 Build - Create a front-end copy of your application
👉 Guide - Add guided walkthroughs
📊 Track - Send to prospects via a distinct link and track engagement
Use Cases
Sales - After the demo, share an interactive follow-up to engage prospects and keep your product top of mind as they secure internal buy-in.
Marketing - Share an interactive product demo directly on a marketing site or embed in outreach campaigns to drive lead generation
Offer
We love this community, and for all new signups through product hunt, we'll convert your existing product video to a shareable, guided demo at no cost! Get in touch with us to redeem the offer.
Note: As founders we still onboard each and every user, guide them through our app, and make sure everyone gets an awesome experience. We'd love to meet you! 👋
🙏 We’d greatly appreciate your feedback and would love to hear your thoughts below! 🙏
I know this problem too well.
I was working on a machine learning data analytics tool that was incredibly useful - if you had data in it to start. Since the time to get it working took so long, we had a hard time converting enterprise customers who would have benefited the most. We had one account that we shared the user name/password for, and would embarrassingly show the account with a lot of old historic examples that were really unprofessional. When we had a big client, we took half a day setting up a profile, and when the customer didn’t buy - it was a total waste of times
This makes so much sense, and standardizing the process to spin up new sandboxes for the purpose of selling, without engineering work, would have been clutch.
@rememberlenny Thanks Lenny! Showing a data-rich version of the application can be a pain point - especially one with outdated data. Hopefully Navattic can help every team become product-led, even if they don't have the engineering resources to get there
@rememberlenny Thanks Lenny! We feel your pain.. we've spent literal days in prior roles setting up environments for potential customers that had relevant, up-to-date data. We've got big plans for the future of making applications replayable/sharable to solve unnecessarily complex processes like this. We're just getting started!
As a user, I *wish* more companies would use onboarding tools like the one Navattic seems to offer for demos. Not sure if that's in the cards for the future of Navattic, but seems like it could be an interesting add on.
@ggarnhart It definitely is, training is an interesting area that we're exploring as well. A shareable, guided walkthrough of the product seems like it would help with customer enablement.
I have been looking for a tool like this, and it looks wonderful - But I have to inquire about the starting $700/mo price point. It looks like a cool product, but many startups that require this service do not have that type of money on hand. Can you please provide an outline as to exactly what makes the service worth a minimum of $700 per month? @navattic?makers Thanks!
@navattic@devon_smittkamp Thanks for sharing Devon. That's right - we start at that price and right now we're targeting the teams that needs this acutely. At this point our customer base is primarily B2B companies, though we may explore a more consumer focus for this down the road.
The product is looking brilliant! We used to have this problem back at my 2 previous companies where we didn't have a good demo instance at hand. Super work.
@rosscranwell Thanks Ross! It's a broad challenge we're seeing across the SaaS space. Our goal is to allow sales to easily own their demo, without needing engineering resources to share it with prospects or adjust data internally.
It's hard to train sales team members to give consistent, great demos. And so many people hate to be sold to and would rather self-serve. There's some existing tools out there that do this, but it seems like Navattic is going to be easier to use. Hoping to implement this on our site in the next few months.
@theresa_klaassen Thanks Theresa! Keeping internal teams up to date with the latest demo is critical. Generally, I think prospects and vendors alike are waking up to the fact that product-led is an excellent way to approach friction with prospects in the sales cycle.
@neil_mclean2 1. I think we might want to try this out for our own launch so that's an easy help :D 2. Would love to connect about y'alls growth in general.
@james_afino Thanks James. At this point, we don't but it's self-service so users can simply click through the application to record the build. Hope that clarifies!
