n8nChat Now Supports the New OpenAI Models!

Launch was a little rocky with some bugs in the release version, but the Firefox version is all up to date now, Chrome users... we're at the mercy of Google to approve the update.

While we wait for Chrome to catch up, you can get the Firefox version of n8nChat right now and try out the new models OpenAI just released! I've replaced all of the models in n8nChat with these new models which are faster, cheaper, smarter, and have a more recent knowledge cut-off:

• gpt-4.1-nano - Fastest and cheapest model in the extension. Works great for simple requests

• gpt-4.1-mini - Balanced between intelligence, speed, and cost

• o4-mini - The default n8nChat model. Thinks before it responds, great quality output at an affordable cost

• gpt-4.1 - The new OpenAI flagship model

• o3 - The smartest model available
