Thanks for hunting us again, Chris! Hello, Product Hunt! We're thrilled to be back! Roughly four years ago, I launched n8n and was humbly greeted with an overwhelming reception from you all, bagging 'Product of the Day' and 'Product of the Week'. Since then, our team has grown, secured our Series A funding, and devoted ourselves to enhancing the workflow-building experience for individuals and organizations. Today, we're excited to announce another milestone in our journey: n8n version 1.0 is here! In our observation of the evolving automation industry, specific pain points and issues seem persistent, particularly among our tech-savvy users, who often feel limited by the functionalities offered by most automation platforms. We've noticed this, which has led us to double down on our commitment to this segment. Our focus lies primarily with tech enthusiastsβ€”engineers, DevOps, SecOps, IT managers, and anyone with technical expertise. Our journey has been a process of continuous improvement. We've strived to incorporate developer-centric tools into n8n to expedite the creation of automation workflows and manage them more easily, even for those with less technical know-how in your organization. We've been a community-first product from day one. However, as our popularity grows among larger organizations, we've begun to invest heavily in refining our enterprise offering. This includes bolstering security measures, enhancing flexibility, increasing quotas, and upgrading performance. We're thrilled to return to PH with these fresh updates and are eager to hear your thoughts. Share your experience with n8n or any other automation tool. Tell us about the problems you've encountered, your frustrations, and what you wish to see more of from us. We're still in the early stages of our journey, and your insights can significantly impact n8n's future trajectory. You're invited to experience n8n firsthand. Visit n8n.io to try it for free, and if you wish to subscribe to one of our cloud plans, use the code PHN8N during signup for a 20% discount. Thank you for being part of our journey, and we can't wait to embark on the next exciting phase with you!

@janoberhauser Hey, Sn8n is impressive - the perfect blend of code and user-friendly interface that is accessible to technical users. Great job! Congratulations!!!πŸ‘

I've been looking for automation, experimenting with Zapier, Integrately, Make, MagicFlow, and a few others. I would love to poke around on your site, but don't want to commit to the $20 ($16 with the code) offer after seven days. Do you have a non-commital signup? To test the integrations without panicking? I'm going to forget. Perhaps you can point me to your cancellation procedure in lieu of a 7-day trial/commit sign-up.

@ethan_harris you can also self-host n8n, spinning up locally for example: https://docs.n8n.io/hosting/

I last hunted n8n four years ago β€” when it won the coveted product of the week distinction. Now @janoberhauser is back with some big updates and a refined focus on automation workflows for technical users! ?makers what else should folks check out in this big 1.0 release?
Jan Oberhauser
@chrismessina Thanks a lot for hunting n8n again! Now years later and for our important v1 release πŸ™

@janoberhauser n8n has been our fav software that just worked. A two years old instance also works without maintenance! :) n8n has been v1.0 for us for years now! :-P ... Why did you call it v1 so late?

You had my curiosity, now you have my attention. Congrats on the great progress. So good to see you doing well and follow you on this journey from the sidelines.

it’s the perfect tool to bridge the gap between engineers and the rest of the team πŸ‘
Jan Oberhauser
@alexanderisora Thanks! That is for sure one of the things n8n is helpful with.

Using n8n for the last 3 years and it's one of the best things I found so far. You can immediately spin up a n8n instance and start building your workflows. Literally you can build anything with the built-in nodes and the HTTP node is your friend. n8n can be your backend for MVP or your entire product which can scale to a large number of userbase. Also, the n8n community is top-notch! Good luck with the launch. πŸŽ‰
Jan Oberhauser
@mcnaveen Thank you very much! And also thank you for being a fantastic example of the kind of people we love to have and are proud of having in our community. You are always there to help others with their problems and unblock them πŸ™
Naveen MC
@janoberhauser Thanks Jan. It means a lot. Grow Together πŸ’ͺ

@mcnaveen +1. Use it in a similar manner all the time. The HTTP node and Webhooks are my best friend :-D

Extremely happy with n8n. We are relying more and more on it as part of our core product. Today we also launched Webstudio Form integration with n8n πŸ”₯ https://twitter.com/getwebstudio...

Amazed to see how much n8n progressed in these years, and to be part of this story makes me very happy. I work for n8n for nearly 3 years now. I think the biggest winners are the people that n8n empowered to do amazing things, regardless of coding skill. Looking back at earlier versions we can see how much love and effort was put into this product. Keep rocking, n8n!
Jan Oberhauser
@krynble Thank you very much! Super happy to have you on board!
Tanay Pant
Congratulations, team! This is so exciting! n8n looks sleek. Love all the UX updates and the new features that have been added since the last launch πŸŽ‰
Jan Oberhauser
@tanay_pant Thanks a lot, and thanks for your ongoing support!

I didn't even realize that it wasn't at 1.0 yet. This is my goto no-code/low code tool. It's helped me learn a lot about building tech products as well. It doesn't abstract everything away which is why I think plenty of engineers use it. I'm in the middle of building an AI & automation course with n8n as my infrastructure. It's a tool worth learning for sure.
Jan Oberhauser
@mattellsworth Thanks! That is what we are aiming for. To become the default automation tool out there. Hope n8n will soon be the go-to solution for all!
