Hey everyone - Jon from Mux here. We've been hard at work on this since January, and are excited to show off what we've built. We built Mux because we want to help bring television online and make it better. After six years of building video products (Zencoder, Video.js), we realized that the biggest obstacle at this point is data and monitoring. If you've ever had a bad experience with streaming video (*cough* Mr. Robot *cough*), the prerequisite to making it better is the kind of data that Mux provides.
