Hi ✌️ As a parent, I was tired of CDs, cassettes, and even Toniebox limiting our music options. Plus, regular music apps let kids accidentally play inappropriate content or exit to other apps. That's why I built Muky! What makes Muky different: - Offline playback - no internet needed once downloaded - Perfect for audiobooks - remembers exactly where you left off - Kids' music & stories - create playlists mixing songs, albums & audiobooks - Guided Access keeps kids safely in the app - Parent-controlled - you choose ALL content from admin area - Works with Apple Music - access to millions of tracks & audiobooks No more worrying about kids hearing explicit lyrics or getting distracted by notifications. Just pure, focused listening! Would love to hear from other parents - how do you handle kids' audio entertainment? Happy to answer questions! Thanks! Oli

Do you guys plan to support Video as well?
Because I can see how people could prefer uploading kids favorite tv animations on Muky to allow their kids to watch those animations on their iPad or iPhone.

@gapostolov Great idea, ofter thought about that but I see a lot of API challenges because the user cannot upload any content in the Muky app.

@oliverjanssen I see,
Then maybe embeding could work.
Like somehow embeding specific handpicked youtube videos, I think nowadays there are some kid animations on youtube directly.
Or if possible to embed a google drive video file.
If you are worried about the file storage implementation you can also use some "Upload as a service" service.

Personally I think your idea is great and it would be very helpful.
I think people would prefer their kids consuming handpicked content rather than browsing internet directly and watching youtube which nowadays is full of attention span killing content

Nice to see a thoughtful approach to kid-friendly content. Giving parents control over playlists adds a solid layer of safety without killing the fun.

Hi Oli,

I just explored Muky and love how it creates a safe, distraction-free audio experience for kids, especially the guided access and offline playback. I’m a product designer with experience enhancing family-focused platforms, and while reviewing your site, I noticed a small UX concern that could be cause up to a 14–18% drop in user engagement over time.

Would you be open to a quick call to share insights and explore how I might help improve the experience?
