What is the benefit compare to a 360 camera on a small tripod in the middle of the table?
@etienne_l Hi Etienne, apart from being eyecatcher it can be easily taken and mounted to another location for a long time without need of wired charging thanks to accumulator inside.
seems lots of cool features in 1 small "ball". looking fw to test it with my fam
@narek_vardanyan it has a wireless charging. When it's out of a battery it slightly goes down (while still levitating) gets charging and goes up. So it's in the air all the time :)
are there legal issues by calling this the first levitating camera when Samsung did it with this camera : https://www.samsclub.com/sams/sm... ?
Very nice looking! I like that the levitation is both an eye catching feature as well as a functional feature for the rotation. I think it is especially cool how you place it on the stand and it slowly begins to rise and levitate.

Looks great! Could it also be pointed on the current person who is making a speech in the conference room and then switch to another person? For example, you put the camera in the middle of the table and it will rotate depends on the person who is currently speaking.
@alecor0290 Albert, yes we have special flows and algorithms for conferences based on real one's researches. Like to point main speaker and to decide when and how long to show others .

We are very excited to be here and introduce you the Moon smart camera. With the levitation technology, it smoothly captures 360˚ and as Kristofer noted, it's also a smart hub, having all major home automation standards (IR Blaster, ZigBee, Z-Wave and Bluetooth Smart).
Moon integrates with Philips Hue, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and other services in the Internet of Things as well as legacy devices such as TV or stereo systems.
You can rotate and control it with the app and use it for communication in home/office.
@sergo_oganov You're really packing a ton of cool features and integrations into a single product - kudos for that. From my experience however, when I see indiegogos and kickstarters that try and take on these huge goals, we often see big delays in ship dates or the product spec get reduced over time. How confident are you in meeting these product goals and March 2018 ship date?
@kristofertm We are working on the project for more than two years now and are confident we will meet the March deadline. We are designing and developing a lot of other features and machine learning algorithms, which we will provide over the time for free. We are going to ship the product with the promised functionality and make the upgrades continuously, hence there will be no delays :)
@sergo_oganov @kristofertm I've stopped supporting KS and IG projects for this very reason. Too much money went down the drain, with either late or no product manufacturing.

What is that based on exactly? Highest level of sound direction? I'm concerned about this camera drifting off if it hears a bang or a tv in the background. Can it be shut off and set to one focal point?
@marat_zakaryan it only reacts to sounds when it is in a guard mode, which you use when you are away. You can also disable this feature if it conflicts with your usage.
If I'm using this for home security, how well does it work in low light or no light scenarios. Also, will there be the ability to store video somehow or somewhere

@nara54947863 Hey Nara, yes we have developed a special flexible arm, so you can also mount the camera on walls, cabinets etc. The 360-degree rotation is vertical only.
Very cool camera!! Aside from a floating camera being very cool I see great potential for this type of product. I love teams that create out of the box ideas and wish you all the best. I've spoken to one the members of the team and they are great! I'm sure they'll keep making Moon better and better.
Can Moon Commender apps show more than one camera, if not how it will be displayed? I mean is it have multi screen live views?
@olya_nasibyan Hi Olya, yes the Moon Commander can control multiple cameras, showing several videos at the same time.
I have a question about Moon’s direction detection. If multiple people are talking, how does the camera decide who to focus on? Will it maintain its orientation so long as the source its pointing at is producing sound? Or will it spazz trying to switch between multiple sources?
@andremartinz Hi Andre, it will not spazz, but will focus on the loudest noise. Also, direction detection is used in Guard mode, which activates when e.g. you are not at home.
