This is fantastic!
Can we get common tablets as well?
Our app is primarily used by field workers using tablets so our mockup videos are wider than most phones.
This is really helpful and time saving! Products like you and clean mockups are much needed!! Thanks maksym! Are you planning to release full presentation template as well? (my use case will be behance presentation which are really time consuming lol)
@rrhoover Thank you. I will add different content fitting options in the next update. I also plan to add new devices as they come out. Do you have any suggestions?
Any advice on where to actually go to create the wireframe mockup video itself? I often create wireframes, but always wonder how people make them animated... I typically just do static examples to show to clients and sometimes throw in some clickable areas on the mocks.
Always interested me how people made videos out of that process.
Really cool app though, will have to try it out and see!
@mastemine there are some special tools for creating animated mockups. You can try mine https://mokup.app/ - it's easy to use and powerful. Check the tutorials on the website before using.
@ryanleverington Thank you. I plan to add different fitting options with the next update and keep adding new devices. I'm also happy to hear if you have any feature requests.
Pretty nifty. Very similar to PlaceIt - although not as user friendly yet. I'd like to be able to resize images once uploaded into a frame or at least easily see what the image/video size should be so that it fits - mostly having issues with the desktop screens.
You could really set yourself apart from PlaceIt and others if I could import into an animated device (phone rotating) and even better if I can make adjustments to the animations. I spend a lot of time putting together marketing collateral that involves screenshots/videos in devices - you are on the right track and $10 is frankly a bit too cheap for your premium :)
If you can add those features and continue supporting updates and new sequences this is easily a SaaS product that can justify $5-10/mo
Easy to use, very quick to get started. Still a bit shoddy, for example the window can't be resized (doesn't fit on a laptop screen) and my video export ended up with my app video vertically mirrored. Not quite there yet, but looking forward to updates.
@eiskis@dantnad Please update the app. I can't detect the exact Mac models on which media gets inverted, so I've added the option to "Invert on Export" manually. I hope this fixes the issue for now. I'll try to figure out what causes the issue and remove this option in the future updates. Sorry for the issue and thank you for testing the app.
I love this! I only wish the transparent background and shadow controls would work- otherwise- WOW! Feature request would be to have multiple frames at once.
@sarah_cohen1 Shadow does work for the newly added devices. You can check with surface laptop or S10+. Transparent background doesn't work for videos for now.
Great tool and exactly what I've been looking for! Currently, I cannot see any pricing or payment options neither on the website nor within the app. What is the pricing for a premium license?
Looked at the website - there was no pricing information accessible from the landing page so I stopped right there. Might be a great product but not providing clarity upfront on how much the product costs is a non-starter. Seems like it should be easy to add based on what I'm reading in the comments here (e.g. the product is free but there's a charge to remove the watermark)
I LOVE this! You don't know how long I've been searching for a tool that can make my screen recorded videos appear as if its live on a smartphone or laptop template. The only question I have is will I eventually have to pay a fee to use this amazing tool or will it always be free and the only charge will be to pay $10 to remove the watermark?
@mokus I could kiss you! Wow! You are incredible. Thank you. Thank you. Just out of curiosity, are you going to allow payment from PayPal eventually to remove the watermark?
@mark_mccammon Thank you, I really appreciate. I use Stripe payments and they have disabled my account without a notification - that's why you can't pay right now. I'm working now to fix this, sorry for the issue. Or do you mean I should integrate Paypal also?
@mokus This is literally my answered prayers! awesome solutions for portfolio and product presentation! Thank you! Also, I was wondering if it would be possible to add iPhone 8 plus model? You would make my decade :)
Very useful, sometimes the videos dont fit the desktop screens and the fitting option distorts aspect ratio, maybe a zoom option would be helpful. keep up the good work!
@zedandwhite I wish, but honestly I have a bad experience communicating with adobe while working on XD plugins. They are very reluctant on extending their API, and the API itself is lacking some very basic features. I have 3 open requests in their issue tracker for my other app that don't allow me to complete the integration. And I'm afraid for this app it will be the same.
