I tested out 4 top cloud MCP servers for your AI agents so you don't have to

If you're building or using AI agents, connecting them to the tools they need to actually do stuff is critical. MCP (Model Context Protocol) provides a fast & easy way to enable that.

I've spent weeks testing the main players offering hosted MCP servers: @Zapier MCP , @Make MCP, Composio MCP, and @Apify Actor MCP.

The differences in their approaches are quite fascinating. Here's a rundown of what I found: https://mindpal.space/blog/connecting-your-ai-top-cloud-mcp-servers-a3b7f1

Love this comparison -- thanks for doing that deep dive. I should probably mention that you should be able to address your single server quirk through the Make MCP Server query string parameters documented here. Let us know if you have any other feedback. Cheers.

@da_patterson Wow this is awesome! How did I miss this? Thank you so so much!!!

This is pretty interesting! Did you find yourself preferring one over the other? My instant thought is to just use Zapier since I'm most familiar with he platform and they're usually pretty simple to work with.

@gabe I actually like Make better in this case, since my initial tests show that Make MCP is more robust and reliable, partly because they make their MCP deeply integrated into their current core product, while Zapier makes a whole separate product for MCP. The use cases of Zapier and Make MCP are quite different too, tho. If you want to turn single app actions to tools, choose Zapier. If you want to turn an entire multi-action workflow into a tool, Make is the way.

@sylviangth super helpful, thanks for the reply! Might be worth me re-exploring Make then.
