Milanote for iOS — The notes app for creative work 📝

It's a solid app but I can't get past the pricing tiers, or lack there of. 100 notes, images or links (free tier) goes fast and the professional tier at $120 a year isn't feasible for personal use. Could use a middle tier at a couple bucks a month...similar to Bear. Just my two cents. Anyways keep up the good work.

@oliebol I second the motion for iPad support! I feel like I've used every moodboarding / visual collection tool that's been released over the last 10 years and Milanote trumps them all. The browser extension also clips more intelligently than pretty much every competitor. The only cons are the lack of iPad support (iPad Pro + Milanote seem made for each other) and some of the Instagram clipping behaviour (I don't like having to manually refresh each individual embed to see the image-- there's a static low res image saved for preview purposes, it would be good if this just literally duplicated the image, as per clipping from other locations where there isn't a live embed).

Milanote is literrally my creative space and since getting an iPad Pro earlier this year I cant wait for the native app for iPad although the web version is fine :) Also, don’t agree on the pricing and will gladly pay $10/month for the use... maybe add a mid tier for those who dont oceruse Milantone, but need more than 100 notes

I've been a user for—I think—three+ years? Yeah, that sounds about right. Actually, no, it's been longer than that. However long they've been around is how long I've been hanging around in Milanote. Love it to death.

Congrats, Milanote! This was highly anticipated! And worth the wait. The iPhone app is well thought through and refined. I was really hoping for iPad support as well though. Hope that is being worked on!

Milanote was already my goto tool to organize all my ideas, moodboards, etc and now with an app as a companion, I can quickly organize everything on the go.

Pros:

It's simplicity to add notes and be able to review it later on the web.

Cons:

• I'm unable to rearrange my boards or notes in the app. • Would be awesome to do some sketches like the Native notes app.

Does it work on iPad? I don't have an iPhone. RIP STEVE JOBS. I use milanote for everything :) :) LOVE LOVE LOVE

We absolutely love the pc version of Milanote. What we do is have our clients sign up with Milanote if they would like to collaborate and share feedback on their projects. We upload Samples of their work and it allows us to keep our work flow going. Our clients love it as well. We are just having a few issues our clients have brought to our attention. 1) its not allowing them to comment or upload images to their boards. Even with full access to their own boards. (This is through the IOS App) It would be great if the same features that are available in the browser be the same in the IOS App. It just become much more portable and on the go 2) Can the comment box be collapsable? Its hard at times when the comments just continue down the list and we have to just continue to scroll all the way down. (Clients have complaint to me about that) 3) Will an app for Android users be available soon? Clients have requested this from me as well. Not all my clients have an IOS device. Over all customer service has always been there to help me with any issues I may have. They are supper respectful and get the job done. Truly love Milanote. Can't wait for the improvements.

A great product made by great people. I began using Milanote to map out a game project, and it quickly became my go-to creative space. It now houses 6 game projects, 3 contract projects, and an area for all my future planning. When sharing links with partners and clients, 100% of them are amazed at how easily ideas are communicated, facilitating productive meetings, critical conversations, and establishing next steps (to do list!). As for price, I partner with a contract writer at the moment who costs me $2000/month for a quarter of his time. The $120/year for a collaborative work space is a steal, and has blown away what could be accomplished solely in Slack or other remote work applications. I can't wait to dive into the iOS version this weekend. A big shout-out to Brett & Ollie. Thanks again, guys. You drastically improved the way that I approach creative work.

I have not had the chance to put the app to use, but I am excited about its beginning and what the future holds for it. I love the desktop/ laptop application and look forward to the future with Milanote! I recommend and share the application with as many people as possible!

Love the milanote for PC, I recomend it everytime but the iOS app is very incomplete. You can see all your notes but you can only add fast notes to later place them where you want. I believe you should be able to do everything you can do on the browser version, otherwise it's not that worth it, only to see what you already have. On the corner of each column for example, you could have a "+" sign to add notes (or links, or images...) to that specific column. Also you should be able (as an example) to long press and drag (up or down) all intems to reorder them as you need. Also, quite simple, a pencil logo on the corner of each element, allowing you to change the colors or edit titles. I wouldn't bother to write this review if I didn't want so badly for this app to be great, just like the awsome desktop version. I believe this is a good beginning but defenately not there yet.

I would pay a once-off fee for it. Like Scrivener / Affinity Designer. Dont like the 10 dollar monthly fee.

If and when you choose to collaborate with someone regarding something you’ve created, does the person(s) need to also be using this app or can they access your request to collaborate with you via other means and processes?
