For all you online educators out there who felt the current tools of the trade are too costly, this might be worth your while. Microsoft has released a free Powerpoint plugin that allows you to quickly create and share Powerpoint-based lessons. For now, it seems you need a PC to actually use this, but that might expand in the future. It's nice to see the continued democratization of tools for educators.
