Built for Mars is a project of mine, which showcases and analyses popular products. I explain the strategies used, point out mistakes made and suggest how they could improve the experience for their users.
Hey everyone, π
In 2018 I sold a FinTech company I'd started in 2013, and since then have been advising other start-ups, working on my own projects and involving myself in the start-up community as much as possible.
When working with others, I'd find myself taking examples of popular products, and literally pointing at a screen going "see what they do here, they do this because... and you should do this too!".
Then, I started doing Keynote presentations about their own products, and one day it hit me β I should just put this kind of thing in a blog and it might help other product owners / founders.
So this is that blog. Every month I add a few case studies, and in them I try to channel useful feedback that you can apply to your own product/journey. From experience this format is easier than essays, books or even just trying to explain a strategy.
If you like it, I run a newsletter that you can follow, and I'd love some feedback or suggestions of products to cover next.
Thanks β I'll keep an eye on the comments and if anyone would like to talk about a product their building I'm happy to chat. DM me on Twitter.
