CheapHarry — Bot that helps you get the best prices on Amazon

CheapHarry is a Facebook Messenger bot to whom you can send your Amazon product links. He will then notify you once prices for these products drop.

"CheapHarry is essentially an Amazon price tracker/monitor that lives inside Facebook Messenger (as a chat bot). So you can send any Amazon product link or your whole wish list to him and he will message you once the price drops a certain amount - all on Facebook Messenger. This helps you get a good price on Amazon as Amazon prices fluctuate quite a bit."

So "Should I build a bot?" suggested the other day that I should build one. So I did. 😃 I'm always on the hunt for a good deal myself and when I buy stuff on Amazon I usually check the prices beforehand. Now, Amazon's pricing is quite volatile and they often adjust prices many times per day (depending on a bunch of proprietary factors such as demand and competitors' prices). That's good for getting great deals on Amazon. CheapHarry is a Facebook Messenger bot to whom you can send your Amazon product links - or your whole wish list. He will then notify you once prices for these products drop. That simple! Compared to other price trackers/monitors, I think, the advantages are (1) that it's more convenient (especially on mobile) to just share a link in Facebook Messenger, (2) that it's usually quicker to notify people via Messenger, and (3) that it skips the hassle of signing up to yet another website. He currently accepts links to products and wish lists from amazon.com/.ca/.de/.co.uk/.in/.fr/.es/.it and allows you to set an alert level from 5% to 30%-off. He is rather "stupid" (as in no AI/NLP; literally only understands links to amazon) and tries to be a little funny, even though my sister just told me to set the funFactor-variable to 0.3. 😃 Would love some feedback... 😸

@karan_rajpal You are welcome! And thanks for suggesting it! :) I took the chance and added support for a bunch of other countries as well... Made sense since I myself am German and couldn't properly use it... :D
