Back in 2020, together with my co-founders @troffifi and @iulian_gheorghe, we decided to quit our corporate jobs and change the way meetings work.
So here we are, after more than 1 year of beta development, very excited to launch officially on Product Hunt!

What is Meetgeek?
Meetgeek is an AI-based meeting assistant 🤖 that integrates seamlessly with your current workflow and automatically joins your online meetings (currently Zoom or Microsoft Teams).
During meetings, you’ll get a live transcript and can use voice commands to take notes or create tasks that can be pushed to other tools.
After the call, all participants have access to the AI-generated highlights of the meeting, the video/audio recording, and the full transcript.
You can also share the meeting or a 2 min summary with teammates to help them stay in the loop and catch up at their own pace (and avoid attending the entire call).
Transcripts are stored in a searchable repository so you can conveniently go back in time and navigate past conversations.

Great product! Who can access the data? Is there any level of security on the transcripts to avoid third parties to access to it?

@jacopopelanda1 Thanks Jacopo for the question! When we built Meetgeek, we made sure the entire end-to-end flow is encrypted. Information flowing from Zoom/MS Teams is secured using state-of-the-art protocols such as RTMPS and HTTPS while the database is encrypted at rest, in order to ensure that no 3rd party has access to the data.

Back in the day, I felt discouraged by all those meetings that I had to attend. They stole my "quiet" time dedicated to writing beautiful code, haha. I had to rush what I loved doing to make time to attend to 2-3 calls a day, many of them with the same recurring topics that barely highlighted relevant decisions. It's difficult to pinpoint the right person for the job, so it's easier to just invite everybody and maybe someone there will be able to answer all the questions, I guess. I am probably not the only one who attended some calls only to say "hi" at the beginning and "goodbye" at the end. And somehow I was still tired at the end of the day, even though I felt like I didn't accomplish what I had my mind set on doing that day.
And I was not the only one feeling that way...That's when Meetgeek was born.
We have put our hearts and bones into it and we would really appreciate the feedback from you guys, no matter how harsh it will be! We, the other startups, and you together are all here to make our day-to-day routine easier and be able to focus on what we really love in life. If a task is boring it means it's not quantum physics-ish, so for sure a little AI can handle it. If it's a geek, even better!
That being said, I want to challenge you to do a little exercise: What do you hate most about meetings?
Let's see what we came up with and what Meetgeek can do so far:
- do you have to record and transcribe it? MG can do it
- do you have to listen to it again afterward and extract the main ideas? MG can do it (the more used it is, the better summaries it will produce)
- do you have to keep in sync the people who were not able to attend? MG can do it
- do you have to share the meeting outcome with different departments afterward? MG is learning to do it
- do you have to create tasks based on the main ideas and push them in other tools? MG is learning to do it
- do you have to search your directory structure up and down for a particular call from a few weeks ago? MG can help you find it and refresh your mind
This is still an unexplored area in terms of automation and that's where Meetgeek comes into play.
Only if you complain about it, we can develop a feature to take it off your shoulders! ;)

I'm loving it!! can search anything using keywords, see or read what's been said in my own language!! useful for meetings, seminars and workshops. I'm glad I've found it.

The transcript accuracy is really good and the UI is clean and friendly. Finding a particular subject in past meetings is easy thanks to custom label highlighting. Moreover, I like the fact that you can use multiple languages in a single call.
Overall a very promising product! Congrats ?makers!

I really enjoy using Meetgeek! The app does a great job in recording meeting and it is so usefull because I can focuse more on the meeting and I don’t have to worry about keeping notes!
Meetgeek works well in transcript the summary what I like most is that I can share it to my team, so it helps me saving time!

This is a very good solution if you want to be 'hands free' during a meeting that you facilitate and focus on the conversation and not getting the meeting minutes. More I found useful the meeting insights and the integrations with Zoom, JIRA. I liked the accuracy of the voice recognition definitely check this out.
