@aris_nakos it's a great point! We use our own model to assess the quality of the feedback submitted and share recommendations with feedback givers on how to improve it. Our goal is to ensure that the data we receive is specific and actionable.

Hey Product Hunt community! I'm Daria, designer of Meander right from the start. Our two-year journey has been filled with experimentation and learning. As someone smart once said, 'We don't know what we don't know yet,' and this rings so true! We often aren't aware of the gaps in our skills, what others perceive as our strengths, or how to become our best selves. We remain in the dark... until we ask.
We've realized that accessible, clear, qualitative data from professionals who know us is crucial for career success, yet it's hard to find. I firmly believe that feedback is essential for developing skills, but gathering it can be challenging. People are busy, and providing structured, motivational feedback is no easy task.
That's why we've ventured into the realm of career insights with Meander. Our goal? To lessen the stress of both giving and receiving data about our professional self. We're here to help you make informed, data-driven decisions about the skills you want to develop, the careers you aim to build, and the challenges you wish to overcome.

I've used the platform for more than 6 months and it's been a great way to connect with mentees and coaching clients. I appreciate that the platform collects reviews and has a low commission. The support channel is also very responsive. They've quickly fixed issues and implemented ideas I've shared to improve the product for my use cases.
An area for improvement would be the ability to connect with mentees already on the platform. They have a feature where you can do some outreach but I've had limited success with it. I mostly bring clients to the platform from my own channels. It also still needs to support discounts or coupon codes for clients.
That's a great mentoring space, for real! I'm in love with how the Meander team organizes the mentoring process at all stages, from onboarding to finding mentors, publishing mentee' objectives, and doing mentor work at last!

We’re streamlining the process of collecting various types of feedback on your professional self, minimizing friction and time spent on both the feedback giver’s and receiver’s ends.
To get started, simply choose one of our templates. Options include ‘First 90 Days at a New Company,’ ‘Identifying Your Superpowers and Areas for Growth,’ ‘Review of a Specific Skill,’ among more than 20 other templates.
Next, select a few people from whom you’d like to receive input, set a deadline for us, and then just wait a bit!
In the meantime, we’ll gather input from your feedback circle and compile it into a comprehensive 360-degree report for you. This report will include actionable steps you can take to achieve your goals or improve your skills.
So, in short: we help you collect feedback and make informed career decisions. 🙂

In the past I often found myself lacking feedback from the people around me. I always like to understand what I am doing well and what I can do to improve myself. That's why I'm very proud of the product we created and I hope that other people gain helpful insights for their career development from it. :)
This is a really interesting concept! My team is working on something related, particularly for SWEs and more focused on technical skill gaps/interview readiness. SO important in this particular market to be working on tools to help professional development.
Do you integrate with LinkedIn at the moment? I know some employers also have their own performance management/feedback system in-house — would be awesome to get plugged into companies to be used internally, too!
Hi Anna, congrats on this exciting new feature! It looks just like 360 review and I love that you added an AI assistant to summarize and anonymize the feedback. I think it will make the reviews more sincere and therefore actionable. Great job! I'll try it out with my colleagues!
