At Razorpay, we have been users of Marvin from its initial days. The product has evolved very rapidly and really appreciate their team for maintaining such a finesse despite such fast releases. The support from their team has also been great.
Marin has been super easy to use and we've been using for organising our research finding and a research repository. The interface to tag videos, organising tags, make calls and record calls is really powerful. Looking forward to more awesomeness.

Co-Founder of Marvin here with @chirag_narula. User Research is probably the most leveraged activity for product builders. Unlike sales teams or customer success teams, when a product team talks to users for feedback they have no other agenda except to make the users’ lives better. It’s the best way to really understand your customers.
The story of Marvin is more than 15 years in the making. My background is in User-Centered Design. In fact, I moved to the US to go to grad school. However, my life took a detour and I ended up being a co-founder of a venture startup.
At my previous company, our first product hire was a user researcher and they were always one of the most knowledgeable people about our customers. But it was really time-consuming to do this research. You end up a lot way of time tagging & analyzing the data and making it presentable than actually conducting the research. It’s an administrative nightmare to set up and track these interviews.

I use Marvin for user interviews and have found it super helpful. The transcriptions are really good, which takes a lot of the pressure off of note-taking and enables me to be a more active listener. Most often, I've used the dialer to dial out directly to customers since I talk to most of my users on the phone. Marvin also has a lot of great tools for organizing and sharing insights with your team.

I've been using Marvin, for about a year now and I love it. Being able to have a single source of truth for all interviews within a a project that is tokenized and searchable at the paragraph level is so useful, I'm not sure a simple comment like this could ever do justice to exactly how.
