@davidsfeng Still TBD. Unclear if Apple will open it up to 3rd party. Even still not sure I would. Partially because the fake depth stuff can't be saved RAW cause it's processed to do the effect. But also cause its kind of outside the prosumer market for my app. I've played with the beta a bit, it's okay, but it's very particular, and the blur isn't that natural the way they do it.
@willw makes sense. I guess another problem with simulated depth of field is that it's sudden and there's no real gradual progression as it relates to focusing distance and aperture. I can see how it might not make sense for an app like manual 2.0.
Easiest app to use ever. I got it when it launched, and have been a fan ever since. However, I was just trying RAW capture, and photos come out blurry. I'm on a 6s. Any idea about this?
@codymclain Hydra is HDR I believe, which is different, compositing different ranges into one photo. Bracketing is coming to Manual though, which is the varying exposures, which you can use to make HDR images.
